Gaviscon Advance Aniseed, 500 ml

Gaviscon Advance is an amazing product. I was suffering from reflux induced asthma and nothing was working. I was on two times per day PPI, H2 blockers, dietary restrictions and nothing seemed to work for vey long if at all. Through internet research I discovered this product and began using it after meals and at bed time. It gave me the symptom relief almost immediately. After a couple weeks I weaned off the PPIs and then the H2. I am now down to this product alone and my gut is healing. It has been two weeks since I have used any acid reducing meds and I have not had any serious episodes. My advice to anyone suffering reflux is to use this product and avoid the PPIs, H2 blockers, antacids as much as possible.

I was diagnosed with GERD a few years ago after I started having esophageal spasms and problems swallowing. I've learned what foods trigger bouts of reflex. However, sometimes I want to eat the trigger foods because they're tasty. Chocolate, refined sugar, tomatoes, pasta sauce, raw onions are all triggers. Now, I take a swig of Gaviscon after eating the trigger foods and I avoid all of the pain and hurt later in the night. I wish they sold this stuff in our local pharmacy or grocery store. But having it now available through Amazon Prime is the next best thing, maybe even the best things since I don't need to leave the house. Can't recommend this product highly enough.

It works, I used it for a condition called LPR or silent cough it works on the pepsin vapors that is caused by acid reflux.There is no product like it in the US. As a pharmacist I will recomended to my patients.Plain Gaviscon does not work well for LPR.

I've had GERD (severe acid reflux) for most of my life & have tried most OTC products & prescriptions drugs. This is the FIRST product that works 100%, within a few minutes of taking it! You can't eat or drink for 1 hour after taking it, but that goes by fast while you enjoy your reflux-free zone.I take it as needed (PRN) after meals & @ bedtime, per my GI Doc's advice. I just ordered 2 more bottles, 1 of peppermint & 1 of aniseed flavors. A little variety is nice, & I like both.

I have recently developed LPR, a form of reflux, and I've been pretty miserable and lost my voice from the acid reflux. I started on this about a week ago, taking it at night before bed. I'm significantly better. My voice is returning. It keeps the acid from coming up with little to no side effects. I'll keep using it. I'm trying to heal. It's easy to take and tastes okay.

This is much stronger than any Gaviscon you can buy in the local store. I have a very strong acid reflux problem and this is working for me.I prefer the Aniseed over the pepermint.

This really works for the discomfort associated with GERD. PPI's and other acid reducers don't always take care of acid reflux symptoms especially if trying to wean off the PPI's. It's thick like heavy cream and the taste is super aniseed but not unpleasant. Because of the price I take it only when I have symptoms. Whoever thought of the "raft" for the esophagus is a genius. Great stuff!
