Due to working at home needed to add a second monitor to my setup, initially borrowed a USB to vga adapter but didn't do the job, I have matching Monitors so wanted the same resolution on both, but could only get a lower resolution for the second monitor it just would match the resolution I had on the other, the settings just would allow it, so I spotted this, being HDMI as well I thought I would give it a try, now it's not cheap, but you do get what you pay for, I have purchased cheaper items in the past which never really compare, this adapter feels well made, comes with instructions and drivers, I had it setup in minutes and was able to now match the resolution on my second monitor to my first.Absolutely perfect picture quality, I can highly recommend this adapter if your are considering purchasing one, you will not be disappointed.

As a working mom, I needed a second monitor to multi-task and complete my job on time and I was looking for a good Usb to HDMI adapter. Unfortunately my laptop has Windows 8.1 OS and I’m hesitant to switch it to the latest windows version for many reasons. I tried using HDMI adapters of other brands and none of them worked on the older versions of Windows. I was looking at the reviews from amazon for a good product and I came across this product. I have read many positive reviews about Ablewe’s customer support and I’m surprised to experience one. I have purchased this product a week ago and I’m happy I was able to set it up in minutes. This product works like a magic in the newer and older versions of Windows with absolute perfect picture quality, I can highly recommend this adapter if you are considering purchasing one, you will not be disappointed. The drivers are so easy to install and they have an amazing customer care support who quickly responds to your queries within 24 hours. I highly recommend to buy this product if you are looking for one.

High quality brushed aluminum case, the unit has a reassuring heft to it. I downloaded the displaylink driver from the displaylink website (rather than the manufacturer supplied CD, I don't have a CD drive on my laptop) and then connected the unit to my laptop and HD monitor. It was immediately detected and I was able to configure the attached monitor as my third screen for the laptop. This only supports 1920x1080 so don't buy it for use with a 4K screen. The USB plug gets quite warm in use but drives my screen all day long with no issues. The support for this unit is very good. I bought the previous version and it doesn't work on Windows 10. Contacted support and they provided another driver to try and when that didn't work, they immediately refunded me. It's not an exciting piece of technology but it does what it advertises and does it well. If I needed another one, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again.

High quality product made of metal case, easy to use - no drivers required on windows 10, it’s just plug and play. If you need to install driver they are included in the cd or download directly from displayLink site. This perform well too, full HD resolution (1080p) with no issues. Awesome piece of tech to setup second monitor. Highly recommended this product.

This works to get a 3rd monitor running on a Mac mini 2014 (which natively only runs 2).Mac mini running big sur.Instructions on pamphlet inside for website for Mac users to download the software.Will report back on how long it lasts.

Wow this is a great new product, easy to use, plug and play and now enables me to connect an extra monitor to my computer whilst working from home

It has been 2 weeks since I received the goods and the metal case shows the product in a very tasteful way. No need to download additional plug-ins when linking, a quick link can be guaranteed. The after-sales service is very well placed to ensure that the product works well. Overall it is a very number product and worth buying.
