Works great for freeze dryer
I bought this for scooping food off of medium Harvest Right freeze dryer trays and putting it in bags. This scoop fits the trays very well. I like that it is flat across the bottom with raised sides to prevent food falling off. It works great for putting food into larger bags, but I still need a funnel for some smaller bags. It's very sturdy, easy to hold, and washes easily. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase.

Lovely useful kitchen tool
I use it for scooping up chopped fruit & veg to transfer into pans on the hob, as our chopping boards are large and unwieldy. It’s also handy for transferring the rubbish (skins, peelings) to the bin/waste disposal. I also bought a different one without sides which obviously isn’t quite so good at retaining the contents, but that one is easier to clean. As both go in the dishwasher anyway, no problem for me!

This will outlast me!
I basically use this as a countertop "dustpan" and it works extremely well. After baking, there is always a floury mess to clean up, so out comes my "dustpan" and counter whisk brush. And, I done in a trice.[I have flexible cutting sheets for chopping on and transferring to the pot/pan instead.] I do appreciate the fact that this is made of stainless steel, which should outlast me. ;)
