Good grits
I really like these white corn grits and I hope they stay available. I am not a grits connoisseur but grew up eating grits often for breakfast and since then I’ve used mostly instant grits. I know I know.... At any rate, these work just fine and I love them with salt and pepper and a fried egg on top. Very filling and they don’t upset my stomache at all. I have had bad problems with a lot of grains in the past and this product is just fine. Love them!

This is the way to eat grits!
I never want to eat processed, enriched grits again, and now I don't have to. It's even easy to make these in the microwave oven, so I don't have to stand over the stove.. I use 1/4 cup grits to 1 cup water, put it in a bowl, microwave on high for 3 minutes, then on 20% for 15 minutes. I stir once halfway, and the grits come out perfect: creamy and chew. I also use a small portion of these grits in my gluten-free cornbread recipe. So good!

Takes longer to cook than package instructions describe
I love stone ground grits. Unfortunately, they are not easy to find in the northern US (lots of quick grits, though). I remember when TJ's carried these grits several years ago, but they have since been discontinued. The product hasn't expired, but it does take longer than usual to cook (about 40 minutes instead of 20). Other than that, great product.

Not as good as Quaker!
We thought these would be the best ever because they are Trader Joe's but they are not nearly as good as the less expensive Quaker brand.

Mom is a grits snob and she loved them!
Mom liked that the grits didn’t have a bunch of “black crap” in them like other brands. They were very flavorful, like grits aught to be.

My husband is obsessed with these grits
These are the best grits and they didn’t have them at my nearest Trader Joe’s. Are grits a seasonal item in Ohio? No longer.
