its ok as long no one has same key

It's a good idea when the gas cap has a key. I'm not sure if each key is different, so what if someone has the same cap Would the other key open other caps I have to do more research. But its a good product.

Agood lockinggas cap is important , because of smog test's , if your gas cap leaks pressure you will fail the test !!

Solid Product

Have used Gates branded products for over half a century and usually have had good luck with them. Using the "My Garage" fitment tool here on Amazon has been a great help too, having only 3 clinkers over the years. This gas cap fit perfect and locked like it was supposed to and hopefully will not separate like the last one did.

Exactly as expected, so long as you set expectations

I bought this gas cap when the fuel door broke off my 1994 toyota camry. This does what it is intendeed to do, prevent casual gas theft/adulteration. Its not going to be seriously pick resistant, but no mechanism of this size is.

Works as intended

It took me a second to figure out how to lock it and unlock it correctly. You have to hold the cap while locking or unlocking it. It also comes with two keys.
