5-Minute Clinical Consult 2022

This book was recommended by my teacher and I have to say as a grad MSN student this book is AMAZING! Very easy to follow and for sure will help out in clinical and future practice!

I didn't realize you could paywall a book after it was purchased but these guys managed to do it.The information that IS in this book is great, concise and relevant. HOWEVER - an alarming number of topics and conditions are only available on their subscription based web application.If I wanted to get an online resource, I would buy one. If I want a book, I'll buy a book. Which is what I thought I was doing. This is is an abhorrent way to shill your product. I shouldn't have to say this but if I buy a book I don't want a third of a book, or a half of a book. I want the whole book.I'd even be willing to pay a bit more for a complete book. A possible solution would be to offer 2 prints, one that's more expensive with nothing left out - one with some topics left out that is cheaper.Either way, this is a new low. Extremely dissapointed. I have never seen this before and hope I never see it again. I wish I could give you negative stars for how infuriating this is.

El libro tiene 1097 páginas de texto que cubren, aproximadamente, 550 artículos de los algo más de 1000 que aparecen en la lista de contenidos. La razón es que casi la mitad de éstos en lugar de figurar como texto en el libro se tienen que consultar en la página web del editor PREVIO desembolso de unos 110 euros adicionales en forma de suscripción renovable anualmente. Disponer de un libro en formato clásico puede ser debido a dificultad para obtener información en la red en cuyo caso el interés por esta obra decae notablemente. Y si se dispone de conexión es posible obtener la información gratis de otras fuentes.
