⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect Book for True Beginners (and for Those Who Struggle with Learning Challenges) I’m almost finished reading this book, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best beginner-friendly resources I’ve come across. The title doesn’t exaggerate—this book really is designed for absolute beginners. In my case, I live with some learning difficulties, and I’ve often found other electronics books too dense, scattered, or overwhelming. Philip Dixon has written this one in a way that is clear, logical, and easy to follow. The book is very well organized from beginning to end, so you can simply start at page one and progress step by step without feeling lost or needing to jump around. What really stood out to me is how approachable the writing style is. Concepts are explained in plain language without dumbing them down, and the pacing makes it easy to absorb the material. I never felt rushed or left behind. Whether you are brand new to electronics or, like me, you need a resource that respects different learning styles and challenges, this book is an excellent choice. I bought this book to help further my understanding of electronics and have not been disappointed. Would recommend.

I knew nothing about electronics, I was curious about the components in a circuit and how they work, now I have an idea how a circuit works plus I got some knowledge about resistors, LED's, transistors, etc. This is a great book for someone who doesn't really know anything about electronics, plus it has a YouTube link to watch videos of the circuits that you'll be working on. I highly recommend it.

I liked the practical element of designing the circuits, schematic to breadboard with clear videos, schematics and breadboard pictures Alot of explanation missing in terms of ohm's law, circuits in parallel and series

Easy to read and understand clear explanation and connection to YouTube videos is helpful. I would recommend this book for anyone interested in learning more about electronics for the first time .

Ha sido una excelente e instructiva herramienta para que un ingeniero civil de 80 años de edad y ningún conocimiento en la electrónica adquiriese conocimientos básicos en esa tecnología. Aun cuando el título es bastante claro a quienes está dirigido es inapropiado y conduce a crear la idea de ser poco o nada útil para quien desea adquirir conocimientos en tal área, yo sugeriría "Introducción a la electrónica". Por otra parte, al presentarlo a un Rector de una escuela pública, lo consideró excelente para mostrar a sus alumnos la base de un futuro campo de acción, la halló el inconveniente del idioma para lo cual puedo, con la debida autorización, traducirlo al español.

You get what you pay for. I originally downloaded the free kindle version for my paperwhite which meant no color. After reading a few chapters I decided it was okay and opted to get the paperback so I could review the illustrations - especially the photographs. Waste of money, that was. Everything is in black and white, which is bad enough but some of there illustrations required color. Resistor color charts are used to determine the value of a resistor. Here the charts are all in black and white. What the heck! The black and white photos of breadboard setups were especially irritating, In a couple of cases, the accompanying text would refer to a colored wire (the yellow wire as an example) and explain what it does. Cheap book, but you get what you pay for.
