Short sentences to read for beggining readers.It has questions at the end of story to check if your child understands what he have read about. I got 3 read with Oxford books they are good and with colorful pictures.

I bought this for my 3 yr old to start teaching her to read. It has about 5 simple words on each page and is well illustrated so that encourages conversation about the story. There are multiple short stories in this book. I think it’s a great place to start to learn to read and my daughter is enjoying the stories.

Excellent and engaging, sometimes funny too. I bought it for my child at reception to help him start reading and he reads from cover to cover. Great selection of words suitable for the phonic level.

Highly recommend for a children starting to learn to read! The stories are engaging and have lots of character which is rare in these ‘first’ books

My son loves Sam the character so really listened to the story and repeated well. I think the character is really appealing to kids.
