Olympia Tools 90-806 4-Drawer Hardware Organizer includes 2500-pieces Small Hardware, black/red

My husband is gleeful about this box. Lots and lots of screws, etc and each has it's place in little compartments in each drawer. Ad says 2500 pieces. While we didn't count them - I don't doubt it. My husband is thrilled when he needs a few of the odd 'whatever' he'll now have it. It's a heavy box and the drawers open widely and it sets sturdily on a rack in his shop. Happy guy. Although he did cringe at the price - he's over that now. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. This home workshop fastener organizer has saved me many hour-long trips to town to get a single piece of hardware.Purchased one organizer and loved it.Purchased a second unit, bolted the two organizers together, combined the hardware, then added larger and smaller fasteners in SAE and metric. Loved the broader fastener assortment even more.Just ordered a third organizer. I plan to bolt the newest organizer to the top of my organizer stack, combine the hardware, then add more electrical wire crimp terminals, fuel line and small hose clamps, dexter axel hub rubber caps, wire nuts, hydraulic connectors, stainless steel fasteners, carburetor springs, cable ties, tape, and clips.Included hardware is reasonable quality. The fasteners are mid-grade, not soft junk, not hardened industrial specification grade, and plenty good for my tractor, trailer, marine, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment needs.Included metric fasteners are grade 8.8, SAE fasteners are grade 5. Keep in mind, metric and SAE use different scales. These 8.8 metric and 5 SAE are considered equivalent mid-grade by most crossing standards.As an example, my John Deere tractor came built with grade 8.8 metric fasteners.

Good chest and drawers. It would be nice to have one that is all SAE. This one is mostly metric and some of the parts are a bit odd. On the other hand, for the price, it's a good general mechanical supply of assorted nuts, bolts, screws, and bits and pieces. There are only a few empty compartments, which you will quickly fill with something. No idea of the quality of the bolts--don't meet the usual US hardness standards and labeling, so probably not high strength.

Very impressed at this cabinet and bolt set. Not industrial made, but did not expect or need it to be. I just started to order another, but the price went up almost $100.00 from what i paid a couple days ago :(

First one I received was damaged from shipment. From other internet reviews I see this is common. It was obvious a delivery person tried to use a hand cart on the box. It's not very strong steel case. I can feel it flexing just from lifting it from the box. If I were to drop a drawer I'm sure it would bend beyond use. Amazon took over a week to send the original, and another week to send the replacement. In the meantime they dropped the price 40%. I contacted Amazon but they don't do any price adjustments.I give it 5 stars because of the utility of it. It's got a great assortment of the hardware sizes I need. The quality of the hardware is actually pretty good. It all seems to be machined well. It's not huge quantities of parts, but it's also not a bunch filler parts that are of no use in real life. It keeps me from pausing a project and driving to the box store, and end up buying a huge amount of bolts when I only need one. That is the huge utility here. The small hardware stores that had individual assortments are all gone. The big box stores carry huge quantity of the same quality hardware, but make you buy much more than you need. They are also usually out of the common sizes you need.I almost feel like I'm my own little hardware store now.When I do have to replenish some of the hardware I can buy it in huge quantities from Amazon. Normal shipments arrive fast. I'll just have to be sure to keep inventory and order well before I need it.I would definitely buy it again at the current price.

Didn’t have any dents from shipping like other reviews mentioned. The drawer slides are ok, they are flimsy and drawers lock up if they aren’t pushed in just right. Drawers seem sturdier than the rest of the product. Two drawers are Gr5 SAE/ 8.8 metric hex head cap screws, one drawers is various wood type screws and one is electrical hardware and other random stuff like o rings.

It shown up and the boxing was ok but the item was smashed in on one side so was not done in transport so it had to be damaged before but when someone spends that much for something it should but what you are getting very disappointed

Such a great price for what you get, as assorted hardware gets expensive. The whole thing is made w/cold rolled steel and the drawers use ball bearing rails. You’ll need to keep the front tabletop surface free of anything, otherwise getting to the drawers is impossible. The nuts and bolts are awesome to have, but I didn’t know it also comes with all kinds of retention pins, fuses, oil fittings and grommets. The lid to each drawer has a detailed outline of each compartments contents, using a map like legend I was unaware that the drawers come already with holders for every group of hardware. This wasn’t really what I wanted, hoping to use it as a general tool box and placing the hardware in something else. But it’s so well organized that I couldn’t part with it’s intended preparation. Maybe I’ll buy another and double all parts up into one.
