Naot Footwear Women's Sophia Sandal

I love these sandals! I have been a NAOT fan for many years, and would usually buy the Kayla style. But while I loved the shoe, I got tired of the one velcro strap, as I'd walk out of the shoe anytime I hit an uneven patch of sidewalk. I would usually have the velcro removed and replaced with a buckle, but that always looked bulky. I was looking for something that was a little cuter, and more secure. This sandal succeeds at both, as it's super cute, and the ankle strap doubles up on itself. I love the colors of this sandal (I got the blue/purple) as I wear those colors a lot. Love the footbed and the cork/rubber sole. The only thing that keeps this from 5 stars is that the top leather straps do hit a bit low across the top of the foot, and in my case, I feel it just a bit on my left pinky toe. But these sandals are so cute and comfortable I decided not to care and figured it would eventually stretch out. NAOT does tend to run narrow, but that works for me. I'm a size 9 and I went with a size 40 (not the 39 which they list as an 8.5-9), and it's got plenty of room for my toes. It's been a while since my last NAOT and it's great to be wearing them again -- I might just get a second pair in a different color!

I've purchased so many sandals, tried them at home, and always returned them. I kept trying to go cheap. I left my old pair of Naot's in Kansas last summer, and just never bit the bullet to get another pair. But when I saw these, and the cool, different-colored straps, I made an instant decision and bought them! It was really not like me to be that bold. Great news!! These are going to be in my closet for the next 20 years. Love Love Love! Comfortable, easy on the feet, do not have to be broken in, felt perfect first time!!

I love these and just purchased my second pair. They fast became my favorite shoes because of comfort and style. I got plantar fasciitis last year and for many months these were the only shoes I could wear with complete comfort. I have both the multi-color blue, and the multi-color purple, orange and red and they are as delightful to look at as they are to wear.

LOVE THESES SANDALS, great color BUT my baby toe hung over the edge of the left sandal. People complained about the shoe being narrow. I have wide toes and that wasn't the issue. For some reason (I don't believe my feet are different lengths) it was too short. I tried to talk myself out of returning the shoes, but failed. I could have cut off my toe to spite my sandal. ;-)

Leather is very soft and I like the high sole, which helps my problem heels greatly. Usual size works well. However, they are too narrow for my wide feet with little arch. The footbed has a hard lining and it tickles the Inner side of my feet. I wish there was a wider version of this.The oily blue looks lighter, but it matches well with the other two colours.

I love Naot shoes. I discovered them after I had bunion surgery which did not turn out well, my toe is still swollen after almost 2 years. It makes it very hard for me to find comfortable sandals and shoes. I can't wear my beloved flip flops or any type of thong sandal. I have finally found a pair of sandals that are still as comfortable at the end of the evening as they were when I put them on in the morning. I also can't go barefoot anymore due to plantar fascitis setting in after the bunion surgery, so the Sophia style is perfect for me. They are just so comfortable and great to wear!I find that the Naots can be a bit narrow but the leather usually stretches a bit so that they fit perfect after a day or two of wear. The straps fit perfectly around the base of my big toe and the toe itself. These sandals do not squish my feet at all. They fit like a glove. Also the sole conforms to your foot perfectly in a couple of days (this has been true of all of my Naot shoes). The arch support is very good for me.I do have to buy up a size in Naot. I am a true size 10 but I need the 42 in Naots, which is the equivalent of an 11 in US sizing. I really had given up hope of finding a really comfortable sandal, but now I have. I say they fit as expected because of my previous experience with Naot shoes. However, if you have a really wide foot, they might not work.I had first bought a pair at at a major dept. store but returned them after I found them for sale on Amazon for less than half the cost at the dept. store. I already bought another pair in this color from Amazon and I am going to buy the black also. They are a steal at $54.99, they are $145 just about everywhere else. I haven't found them on sale anywhere else. I love Amazon and their shoe selections!

I hurt my ankle in an attempt to start exercising yet again, and I've been looking for shoes that are comfortable and supportive of my foot. I found them in these Naot sandals. Additionally, I think they are super cute! I have to wear wide widths and I was dreading the thought of an ugly orthopedic-type shoes with limited availability in Wide, but I am very pleased with these. So pleased that I went and bought the Mary Jane style Naots.

I had these shoes in the brown colors, and when we had to walk forever to a hotel after a Broadway in Chicago show, I realized how comfortable they were! I now bought the black ones. They fit well, are really comfortable. The fit does ok with my hammer toe and the cross leather pieces hide perfectly the line of my open toe support hose when I need to wear those---so you can't even tell I am wearing them.
