Aqueon Silicone Sealant Clear 3 Ounces

This stuff works great my fish are healthy. It glued my tank back together. It was easy to apply. Great value, left it clean, no residue, dried fast. Not to thick or to think. Great quality

Works WONDERS!!! used it for my bearded dragon's tank, sticking well to the wood, glass and various rocks.👍 the tube didn't bust for me (I was very gentle) the smell was expected but not as bad as the comments bad it out to be but that's just me. I ended up having to remove some of the rocks and let me tell you! this silicone is worth it, like seriously it was flexible, but it stayed put.

This silicone worked exactly as expected. It was easy to apply, cured well, and created a strong, watertight seal. Perfect for small aquarium repairs or sealing projects. The clear finish blends in nicely and gives a professional-looking result.

I love this stuff. It’s a great waterproof sealant that’s a little elastic but not too putty-like. It doesn’t smell much as you’re applying it, but the smell gets really strong as it’s drying. Be aware it will need somewhere to dry away from you and your pets. It takes about an hour to set to the point where nothing will fall over. It takes a really long time to dry completely to the point where it stops smelling. About a week. I used it to make a basking platform for a snake and it was super important that there was no smell before I added it to his cage. It’s nice and strong though, and I’m confident it will hold up to bleach when I need to sanitize clean his cage. The tube it comes in is awful. The back end of the tube always blows out no matter how careful I am. It happened to all 4 tubes I used. Quite a mess. Honestly it might just be better to cut off the bottom of the tube and use that instead of trying to get the sealant to come out the nozzle.

this worked perfectly. I needed something to seal up a water dish for my dog. I got one of those powered "fountain" style watering dishes it had a window on it but the window leaked. I figure if you can seal up a fish tank with this stuff and it won't kill the fish, it's not going to harm my dog or cat. I cleaned everything, waited a day for drying and then slapped this one there, left it overnight and viola! We have a leak-less water dish. Plus I have extra for the next time I need something like this. It was easy to use, I highly recommend using nytril gloves or something, I put a bead of sealant on the window and used my fingers to spread it nice and evenly, then when I was done, pulled the gloves off and tossed in the trash for a no muss no fuss clean up. Awesome.

Pros: • Strong adhering, enough to support water pressure • Color is the opaque clear you see on aquarium glass edges and corners • Easy to apply, and you can do a thin layer at a time • Fast drying, it hardens (not completely cures) in about an hour Cons: • The vinegar smell lingers for more than a day, at least three days. This is actually normal with silicones, but I would not recommend that you place into fish tank until the smell is gone, maybe even put it in a bucket of water for a day before placing in aquarium • The tube can explode from the back side, it did this to me and spilled everywhere. This tends to happen with this type of container, try making sure to push completely towards the front and make sure there’s not much pressure towards the back and fold the back when you can. If it explodes, just clean up with alcohol, and if there’s a lot left in the container fold the back a few times, it should keep working. Overall, a great item at a great price. Just be careful when using it, you can use it indoors and it should be fine, the smell isn’t as bad as most other products. The amount in this bottle is enough for any fish tank project, 3 oz doesn’t seem like much, but you don’t need that much

Used this to repair a water fountain and it worked perfectly, dried clear and is completely inconspicuous.

5 stars for the product itself, however the tube it comes in get a 1 star, due to tube cracking, and leaking glue everywhere. Product has a fast bond.

Great Product. My main tank cracked half way down and I needed a temporary solution to keep my fish alive whilst waiting for my new tank. I applied the solution onto the crack and it was able to significantly stop the water leaking.

not useful, it is the same material used in other silicon sealants. not worth to buy. go for cheap one.

Used it to add a separation in my tank and worked good
