We've had a blade-type scoop like this for years. Since we all like to use it for our ice cream or frozen slush, it was always dirty. I figured that it was such an old utensil that we wouldn't find one like it, but my husband suggested I look on Amazon. This was exactly what we were looking for and came with the spoon as well! The spoon works pretty good as an ice cream scoop as well, so now we have 3 options The quality seems pretty good. We put it in the dishwasher, which makes the wood a little rough, but so far is holding up.

The item pictured is what I was hoping to get. I have had the spoon for over 30 years it has a nice flat edge which is good for stirring things from the bottom of a pot like pasta or vegetables that flat edge helps to scrape those up. It is also a terrific ice cream spoon. The set is usable but the bowl on the spoon is not as concave as I had hoped it would be. The pics of the set in this offering is pretty much true. They have a nice hold and weight is good. The spoon could easily be used for soups serving spoon and the other instrument I can see where that would be nice for cutting brownies or maybe even going around the edge of a cake baoth are strong and look like they would last for a long time.

This is the exact size and strong metal scoop I was hoping for, but the wooden handle isn't going to last. I wish is was better sealed or they used bamboo. I feel like I'm going to break apart and give me a sliver.

I care more about getting rock hard icecream from the bucket than making the ice cream look pretty. this solid scoop does that without flinching. It's not the prettiest, it's not the most stylish, it's not fluid filled... it's essentially a garden trowel, but for ice cream.

The metal finish is pitting just a month after put into service. I thought they would last longer

This product works great when scooping out extra frozen ice cream. I'm glad I bought it.
