Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  We got this mat to go under a gymnastics bar so my kids would be safe when they flipped on the bar. It's been great so far. I really like that it can fold up in multiple spots because sometimes I move the bar to a smaller space and I just fold one quarter of the mat under. My kids also don't cry when they are practicing and fall on the mat, so I like that it's soft enough to not hurt when you land on it!

This was the hardest product to buy for my gymnast daughter. So many choices. Big, small, thin, thick, cheap, crazy expensive, good, or poor quality products out there. I'd have to say I spend 6-8 hours reading & researching gymnastics mats. I wanted her to have a large, good quality, reasonably priced, excellent padded mat but not overly padded. I found that in this product. It's a great product of good quality, reasonably priced, large and great for gymnastics on. I'm extremely happy I bought this product.

We originally decided to get the mat for an inside activity for the kids because it gets so cold here in the winter. My kids love practicing their flips and such! Then after that purchase. We found the gymnastics bar and that it fit so perfectly with the mat that we purchased! This was a bonus for us because we have some extra space in our bonus room for the kids to be kids and we don’t regret this purchase for one second!! This mat makes landing much softer and protects the floor extremely well! My kids are having a blast With it and I get some major bonus points because now they can do their gymnastics at home too!

Cheap. Damages easily. It shows two damage spots and the kids were gentle on it, considering what it is built for. It seems more like think faux leather than the square crosshatch pattern I expected. This is also more dense/solid than the mats at the gymnastics where my kid was attending. In fact it feels about as hard as my carpeted floor (I don't think we have cushion under our carpet).I'm going with another brand.

The 2’ mat that folds to 4’ is extremely firm. I would not want to fall on this! My 180 lbs body when jumping straight down on two feet maybe compressed 1/4 inch. It’s that firm.No compression from body lands at all. Ouch!That being said, the return was hassle free and the company followed up to learn about the concern. Great company, not so great product.

Overall not bad. The material is a little lower quality and not going to hold up to heavy use. I'm using for martial arts starting a martial arts school. Using a lot for take downs and throws along with wrestling. They are less expensive than most in this size and thickness. Overall not bad though.

Got this for my 9yo special needs daughter for her floor time. Not only is this a great, stable padding for her to do PT but it's great for my knees and comfortable for anyone hanging out with her on the floor. Material is solid and tough but no shoes. Cleans easily and can be folded up and stored with no issue. Not very heavy.

Needed a mat for our indoor rock climbing wall but I didn't want to spend oodles of money on it either and it had to be a very specific size. This mat checked all the categories, the kids love it and use it for tumbling, a soft play surface in addition to the obvious use of being a crash mat.
