Too absorbent
This product is great that it stays flat even with a lot of washes. The washes get absorbed and you keep wetting the paper to keep the washes wet. The paper stays damp for a really long time so to avoid painting wet on damp, use a hair dryer. If you don’t do washes then you’re good. If you want to mask with out disturbing the delicate surface good luck. I have tried five different masking fluids, masking pen pumps, thin line applications and lifting preparations, and none work well with out careful use. The surface is not tough enough. Most pros don’t try, or even mask at all and probably don’t buy this paper. They buy Saunders or Arches and pay double with out complaining.

Paper is different than other ones that I have or have used?
I'm not entirely sure why this happened but the paper in this specific order is different than the paper in my other Fluid 100 packs. The paper is darker in color, giving it a light tan color, and it feels and acts different than my other paper? The only difference I noticed between the two on the outside, the packaging I mean, is that my other one has an orange flap? But that's it. I love this paper in general and I always buy it but this is the first time I've received paper from this company that I wasn't happy with. The paper feels off and absorbs the water differently and seems weaker, if that makes sense. All my other Fluid 100 papers are phenomenal, it is only this specific one that I ordered that is lacking and I am trying to figure out why. I'm not liking the paper I received in this order at all.

Not What I expected from the image or description.
The paper was kind of a disappointment. There is no real texture which was a disappointment. I usually love working with 300-lib watercolor paper, but this product seems to resist water. The package shows a lovely texture, but the paper inside has no texture. Nor is the paper deckled as it appears on the packaging. I found another product which was far less expensive and it met my needs far better.

Archive quality is very important
I'm a professional watercolor artist and I prefer the single sheets versus the blocks. This 5 x 7 is really great! I also prefer the 300 lb weight so the paper doesn't curl up when wet.

Good Paper
This is very nice, 100% cotton paper that takes paint quite well. It’s not as durable as more expensive paper and I’ve found that I need to be very careful with tape and masking fluid. The blocks are only glued down on two sides but that seems to be enough to control buckling. I’ve been able to put down some very wet washes with no problem. I’ve found that I prefer their hot press to some more expensive brands but the cold press isn’t quite as nice. A great paper to practice on and it comes in many smaller sizes. The 300lb blocks are great!

Not Forgiving
Doesn't buckle or wrinkle like some cheaper papers do but it's not forgiving. If you make a mistake it's hard to correct as the paint doesn't lift off.

Required stretching
Must work fast. Seems pigment gets sucked into the paper and locked in place. Liftability is okish I guess. The paper buckles hardcore with washes of water, so if you dont stretch the paper its gonna pool. Texture is more in the smoother side.
