Q: Has anyone taken off the silly logo? Can it be done and how hard is to do? I just want a normal solid color hat.

If you're fairly adept with a seam ripper it should come off fairly easily. But just know, it's not something that can be sent back for a refund if it doesn't work! Happy logo removing, and let us know if you think a logo-less hat is something we should consider making! Cheers, Jason at Tillak

Thanks for the great question, here's a very long-winded answer! We work internationally with a wide variety of mills, suppliers, and manufacturers, each being hand-selected for their specific areas of expertise, and then thoroughly vetted for adherence to our rigorous standards of quality. For our Wallowa Camp Hat, our manufacturing partner is located in China, nearest to where our Bluesign materials are milled (no Bluesign nylon is made in the US so we'd have to source and ship materials from China to sew hats in the US, which results in more emissions than doing it all in one place). Additionally, as a Certified B Corporation® our manufacturing partners and suppliers are evaluated to ensure that strict environmental and ethical standards are met. For these purposes, we constantly strive to partner with Bluesign certified (or certification pending) manufacturers, and utilize REACH certified materials for products whenever possible. Q: Does the Camp hat have a flat brim like the Trail hat has?

Yes, both hats have the same cut and fit and bill dimensions. That being said, with a little bit of training, you can teach the recycled HDPE bill to hold a bit of a curve if that's what you desire. But it'll never do a full u-turn like our uncles' old hunting caps (and that's on purpose, we like seeing things in our periphery when we're outside).
