How long does it last before you have to change it?

I had to change it in 2 weeks. I would not buy it again because the litter is fine like sand, which if not rotated daily, it will become totally saturated quickly. Perhaps if one lined the box first with the baking soda for pets and then add it to the box again once the litter is added, it may keep it from drying out so quickly.

I used it for a month . Depends on how much your cat goes too . My cat drinks a lot so , you lose some every time she wets .

Is this comparable to pretty litter?

Texture wise yes! Most “micro crystal” litters will be about the same size as pretty litter that I have found. This does not detect any of the extras that pretty litter is supposed to.
