Great source of vitamin C
I ordered this to use in a vitamin C face serum. It works wonderfully. I have also mixed it with yogurt and eaten it for an added vitamin C boost during cold and flu season. Excellent source of vitamin C and a little goes a long way.

Good brand that tastes the way lucuma should. Makes great lucuma ice cream.
Lucuma is an interesting fruit that grows mainly in Peru, but also in Ecuador, Bolivia and Chile. It's roundish and green on the outside and inside is yellow pulp surrounding one round and shiny brown pit. The flavor is sweet and nutty and hard to describe. In Peru, where I lived for several years, few people ate the fruit plain, but instead used it in desserts, especially in ice cream and mousse. I grew especially fond of lucuma ice cream, but it's not easy to find here in the U.S. I discovered lucuma powder a couple years back at my local Latin American market and now add it to pancakes, smoothies, cookies, cakes, and, now that I have an ice cream maker, I make my own lucuma ice cream that is almost as good as what I used to buy in Peru.I see here that some people use this as a sweetener substitute for sugar. It's beyond me how that would work. I don't recommend that use but YMMV. And, one more thing, do research on lucuma if you're hoping to use this as a nutrient-dense supplement. I'm not sure if it lives up to that hype. But if you just plain love the flavor of lucuma, like I do, this particular brand is very good. I've bought some brands that taste more like wheat gone bad. This definitely tastes like quality lucuma.

The Availability of haven the product your looking for to be there.
I like the product that I received, what I didn't like was the confusion I had with trying to check out after I had entered my billing information and credit card information. I finally figured it out after I had apparently kept ordering the same order over and over. I still think that I may of ordered and paid for something that I only wanted one of. Once the order is complete, & you put in your information and the pay information it should go right to final check out, instead of asking me to continue shopping, after that is done and that transaction is completed ,paid for then ask if I would like to continue shopping. Besides that everything else went great. Thank You John P. Merk

May help with ADHD?????
We bake with it and add it on cut up fruit tastefully yummy, I could eat it by the spoonfuls. I'm a very very picky eater.I also want to toss it out there that my 11 year old son has ADHD /add and also struggles with separation anxiety it took us a while to put two and two together but we have seen when we do sprinkle this on his oatmeal or cut up fruit, he has much better days. Because it's not Something his dr knows much about it she refuses to talk to us about it.But he is out of school for the summer and has not taken one of his prescription medications,It could be a fluke thing because he's not in school right now which is normally stressful every day for him. We have not seen him cry at all this summer infact we took him on a cruise to Costa Rica and he jumped off a 20 foot cliff without thinking twice and swam down water falls all on his own free will and was very proud of him self. Normally very shy but polite he was encouraging to other children on the same tour. I'm not a dr not do i have any medical training other then CPR.So this could be just a change in maturity but personally we think the Acaii berry may have something to do with him keeping his ADHD under control.,

A company with great products
I'm a big fan of holistic living and I rely a lot on organic whole food supplements. I have tried several products and have done very well on them these past 3 months especially since they may have brought up my immune system which suffered during the corona time here. I wrote to the company to mention a sensitivity to this Lucerna product which I tried for the first time and some 'detox' results, which in the end probably did me good. They were quick to respond, and although I did not expect a refund right away, they provided one with no questions asked. I still have the product and although I detox too quickly with it, my children seem to enjoy it without those symptoms. There is not much of a taste, yet it does have a slight natural sweetness about it. I suggest to use it with a smoothie, rather that in water alone as it will dissolve much easier. I would highly recommend.
