Best cones I’ve ever made, in minutes!!!
This works exactly how it’s marketed. Just follow the directions. If you don’t want to bang this on a table or counter, put a cutting board on your lap and bang it out. I put a kitchen towel on my counter, then a cutting board, then a piece of paper to retrieve anything that falls out (barely anything, which is amazing). It makes perfect cones for me, because I followed the instructions.I see some concern about bending where the crutch meets the paper. If you've made these cones by sweeping or funneling the material, then packing it, that can happen. On my first run, I actually pre-packed the cones with a little bit of herb. I tried it by the book the second time, and it came out just as good. You really need to follow the directions!!! Put in a little more material, as the excess can be removed from the device. If you're doing six lean cones, 3.5g of material works perfectly. You'll have a little left over, which you can usually use to make another cone. Then bang it. Don't shake it. You don't have to slam it hard, but it needs enough force for the material to fly up and down in the device. I doubted this, like many others, but shaking it just won't do.Yeah, not all of the material gets into cones. You’ll have a little excess. Not a big deal. You can collect it easily. Just make sure you work over surfaces where you can retrieve the surprisingly small amount of material that falls through. You can also make cones another way… Load the empty cones and just sprinkle your herb on top, then sweep and pack the remaining herb. Meh, it’s easier just to bang it out. (That’s what she said.)This thing is tight! (That's what he said.) Well made, great value, doesn’t feel chintzy. Making cones is fun with this thing! I’m gonna make a whole mason jar full and throw in a humidity control pack!I’m really amazed with how well-constructed the cones are! They’re so uniform, all the way down to the crutch! Love this thing! It will save me days!I'm pretty impressed with RAW. Their manufacturing is pretty tight. If the lean cones varied too much in size, this thing wouldn't work. There are other brands that copy this, but I'd have to wonder how well it works out. Probably more material leaking out. With the six shooter, I could easily make 100 cones in less than two hours. Some may chuckle at that quantity, but with friends and whatnot, they'll be gone in a few months. This thing is a time saver and it makes better cones than using a funnel or sweeping/packing it in. I was willing to compromise, and get some mediocre cones for the sake of saving time. No! They're the best cones I've ever made. They're thick, all the way to the crutch. No more bending at the crutch, because the banging action really settles everything in.If RAW comes out with a bamboo version of this, I'm sold! This thing takes a chore and makes it fun!

It Works For Me
While it isn't perfect I found it to be the easiest and quickest way to load cones. A bit of herb does get out but if I use it on a piece of paper I can collect any that escapes I like it so much I also bought the other size.

Def need it
This thing works as it should. There is a bit of a learning curve trying to make sure the slim part is packed right to the tip of the filter but not too much. Once you get that down it’s simple to do 1,2,3 or 6

Messy, hard to use
Hard to fill cones following directions. They are inconsistently packed and frequently bend above the crutch. Had a tough time getting through 3 rounds of 6 cones. Herb and kief get everywhere. I resorted to using the Six Shooter to fill 25% full, then packed the cones with a stick, then another 50% fill, then remove all the cones to fill the final 25%. I will be returning it, assuming they take my return.
