Great!
Another book in this great series! I’m enjoying the continuing adventures so much! I hope you do too. There are so many twists and turns and intriguing situations to get lost in. As I read, I can’t wait for the next bit of entry to be revealed.

worth a read
Good world building and magic systems. Unexpected twists and good action. The spice is distinctly lacking after all the buildup but the pace of the overall story carries it through. Lots of reveals in this book, curious to see how this wraps up.

On the road so far
This one was so many things: Answers, mayhem, emotional roller-coasters, dash of spice, FLOWER CROWN, CHAOS, DARK, sad, redemption... onto the next one!

Night and Death
Arianna and Ruadan are a good team, but they would be a better team if they could trust each other enough to share the important secrets that each are hiding. The fact that they are both only part fae is one secret, and of course Ruadan is a wraith but it turns out he is also a prince. Arianna has some idea what her other side might be and she hopes with all her heart that Ruadan doesn’t find out.Arianna came out of the Institute and found a human arm with a note nailed to the door saying that London will be struck with the Black Death again in Ruadan doesn’t turn himself in to Baleros. Of course that must never happen, not even to save London since the World Key is part of Ruadan’s personal and Baleros must never be given that power. They also know that Baleros has Ruadan’s mother that had once thought was dead.So Arianna, now an official Shadow Knight and once the greatest gladiator ever to grace the ring, and Ruadan the shadow wraith and Prince and now the Grand Master of the Institute must track the evil Baleros. They both have horrible history with Baleros and have their own reasons for wanting him dead, but now London in his the path of his darkness. This is another wonderful and well told story, and each story could have been a stand alone, yet we’re always glad to find that there’s more. Solid five star with mild spice.

Main Character Becomes Annoying
I enjoyed the first book of this four-book series, with a strong female lead and a quirky sense of humor. The second book kept my interest but needed to be on par with the first book. The third book was tiresome, with the same leading character issues, and the female lead is not the strong warrior depicted in the first book; she never wins a fight and needs to be rescued all the time by the hero. Also, the two lead characters have beaten the antitrust issues to death. And, like another reader, I wondered why the items in the backpack were not wet every time she became soaked…waterproof bag? Finally, the wanting and quick rejection of the relationship by the main character, Arianna, becomes boring and dull, making her appear emotionally stupid. It is hard to root for the hero when she constantly seems weak.

Fun series
Secrets are finally being revealed, the slow-burn romance is heating up, and I'm having fun with this series. You know I'm going to love a book that mentions George of Clarence being drowned in a butt of malmsey.

Can't stop reading this.
This book shows that no one is perfect as in Arizona and Ruadan. They both didn't trust the love between them to tell each other the truth. As Aunt Esther from Sanford and Son stated, "the truth will set you free." If they had trusted their love for one another, relationship limbo wouldn't be a thing for these two.

Can't stop reading!
I am so happy I got to this series late, because I am about to jump right into the last book. Crawford's writing is incredibly compelling.

What a WILDE RIDE!!!
Let me just start by saying, CN smashed this one out of the park. But prepare yourselves, because this book is one crazy hold on to your seats for dear life ride, that you won't ever want to end.I'm completely and totally in love with Arianna and Ruadan. This book finds Arianna and Ruadan our two main characters going up against Baleros, who proves to be quite the villain. With the threat of the plague looming over their heads, plus the added pressure of Arianna's true identity being revealed, Ruadan and Arianna really go through the motions in this book, and you as the reader really feel for them. Especially Ruadan.Throughout book 1 and 2, one of the most pressing questions was 'what is Arianna?' We finally get an answer to that and all I'll say on that is that it's glorious.CN has set up the next book brilliantly and I cannot wait to read it. This book was full of fights and humour. I often found myself laughing, and even though I'm having a hate/love relationship with Arianna her classic one liners made the book such an easy read. The storyline is brilliantly developed, the characters growth is great too. You truly get to see them better in all aspects in this book.So far it's been my favourite in the series and my only complain would be that the next one is not out yet.

So many twists. I love it!
There were so many twists in this book. I'm happy with how things have come together and make sense. Loved Book 3, so excited to read the final book in this series but also sad that it's the last book. It's been such a fun journey!

What a novel
I don’t think I’ve even screamed at a book so much. My heart feels like it is going to explode and I also want to cry a bit. I love this series.
