Moved away from Tiles
I originally used Tile trackers but it seems like that company is slowly dying off. There were previous annoucements of a UWB version but despite multiple years passing, it never got released. Apparently, apple nor samsung is willing to share their API to get UWB to work for their company as they would rather sell their own tracker products exclusively. So, Tile no longer offers the best tracking. A lot of youtube reviewers have done tests comparing Airtags, tile, and galaxy tags. Basically, Galaxy tags track the best for thr android side and is your best bet if you happen to have a samsung phone. It tracks and updates the most often with the downside of having consierably poorer battery life. Not a big deal though as I prefer accuracy and frequency of updates more.If you have a samsung phone, this is your go-to tracker.

I purchased 3 of these a year ago
Last year I lost my wife's keyfob and it cost almost $400 to replace it! The dealer wanted $550.Smart tags are cheap insurance. I purchased 3 of them and after a year 2 are still working so I just purchased a replacement. They are not magic and you can't track them on a map. Given enough time you can locate them and get close enough for the Bluetooth to connect where you can make them sound a tone. These can only be tracked where any Samsung phone can get within a short distance and then report the location.

They work fine & you can replace battery
I've had this product for a couple of months and have used them more than I care to admit. Last week, I accidentally put one I hadn't used into a washer & dryer. I was fearful that it wouldn't work after that, but I connected it to my Harley Davidson key ring. To my surprise, it worked.

Worked Great
I bought this for my trip to Grand Cayman from the US to track my checked bag. It was in the news lately about how many bags were lost in the airports and I wanted to be able to see if my bag was with me. If not, where it was. I was surprised that it worked so well.I knew from a direct connection through bluetooth that my bag was on the first plane. It was verified that it was in my connection city through the Smart Things system (via another Samsung Galaxy). And while the bluetooth signal did not make to my phone directly on my second leg, the Smart Things system verified that it was nearby before the plane left the gate, . What I was really pleased about was that I knew it made it to Grand Cayman because it hooked up with a nearby Samsung phone on the Smart Things system and showed it was in Grand Cayman. So it seems to work well internationally. And I would guess that depending on where you are sitting in the plane in relation to where your bag is located on the plane will depend on you getting a direct bluetooth connection. Probably due to all the metal and wiring in the aircraft shortens the bluetooth range. But the ramp personnel who load and unload your bags have their phones on them and I am now sure a decent percentage of these phones are Samsung Galaxies.I did not hang this tag outside my bag but put it inside my soft roller duffle bag and it worked fine. The Smart Thing app does not tell you the battery charge percentage, just that it is sufficient. Although I took an extra battery for the tag it was not needed for my week long trip and it worked well all the home in the same fashion. If you use this to track your bags while traveling be sure to get the Smart Tag+ to utilize the Smart Things system. The cheaper Smart Tag will connect to your phone only through bluetooth and only if it is in range of your phone. The more expensive Smart Tag+ utilizes all Samsung Galaxy phones running Android 11 or higher.I had a good experience with this device and recommend it.

Track what u want wherever it is. Updates quickly. Has an awesome interface
I love this thing. put it on whatever you want to keep a location of. The plus version is idea for pinpoint location without using the alarm, this is done by getting close to the tracer location (shows when ur getting closer or farther away). Once ur in range it will all you to open the camera and it will show u the spot that the tracker is at. Ex: tracker is attached to your keys, they are in your pants in the hamper. Get close to the hamper and the camera will shows little dots pointed toward the hamper. At that point its best to use the alarm to quickly find your keys.I have the regular version in my bike and cars. If someone ever steals either the tracker will try to ping nearby galaxy devices(which are everywhere). The tracker has a very far range so even if someone is driving by and they have a galaxy the tracker will be able to ping its location to you. Its amazing technology.Best of all battery lasts for a very long time(many many months). This is compared to a gps system that is both bulky and might only last hours or days.

At least one of these is apparently at the end of life.
Bought 4 of these for a vacation trip. One had a low battery not long after setup. Replaced with a new battery - seemed ok. On the way back saw the battery was low again. Upon arriving at home, it is so low that I can't use the camera to find it. Smart Things had a location for it - it's not there. Removed everything from that location. It says it's in the wall! Went into the hallway on the other side -yup! It's in the wall! What a bunch of crap! And because I ordered the a couple of weeks before we left, we're now past the 30 day return. Of you must have these, buy them DIRECTLY from Samsung!

I like smart tags
I really like these. They work well. If I could change anything about them, I'd probably just make them a little smaller. I've got one on my car keys, one on my waller, one on each of my kids school back packs. From my experience, I wouldn't call them "real time" trackers. For example, if I check the app on my phone I won't see my kids moving around, but it will mark where they were as recently as 1 minute ago. That's as close to real time as you can get without being real time. The carabiner on my eldest son's back pack was faulty and he lost it. I was able to track it right to precisely where it was and got it back (real far drive from home). Then I reattached it with a secure one. I'm not saying they're 100 fool proof. But it's certainly good enough for the price.

Mediocre.
Sometimes the app glitches when using AR. Very expensive for almost no reason.
