Great Quality
Product was exactly as expected, excellent quality. Mainly use these to filter tap water in a 1.5 gallon glass jug with a spout at the bottom. Takes about 2-3 hours to treat the water and eliminates the plastic waste other filtering methods generate (huge plus for me). Favorite part is you can reactivate them in boiling water every 2-3 weeks when they start to 'slow down'. I use 1/4 lb (half a package) for the container I'm using now, each batch lasts about 3-5 months in continuous use (so 6-10 months for the whole half pound). When they're no longer good for filtering water I grind 'em up and use them to aerate potting soil for my succulents. Very useful product.

Great for simple purification
I love the charcoal sticks and I have been using these for years. What I don't like is the packaging, it comes in a bag with no padding and there are usually 1 or 2 broken pieces!

My kids and I now love the taste of tap water. We drink a lot of it now - fewer sugary drinks.
