Pretty much exactly what I wanted. I knew I didn't want a beaded curtain; those sound like a good idea until you have to repeatedly walk through and get tired of being hit by beads. But I wanted something to simulate the look. These fit the bill. I like the shiny silver threading, gives the illusion of glass or rhinestones (not sure what the material is but is not glass or rhinestone it's some sort of threading). For some reason there is no bathroom door for the master bathroom at our new abode. I personally am fine with that as we have cats and I'm never allowed to close door when using facilities, but the other have, he wants some sort of privacy. The first three photos are the curtains "closing" off the bathroom. I used two curtains on this door. The last photo is my back door that happens to be a French door. I didn't want to totally curtain off the light a French door allows, but at the same time at night I felt awfully exposed sitting on my couch with nothing between me and backyard neighbours. This took care of that for me. I used three curtains on this door. Please note that these curtains are NOT designed to provide total privacy. By their very design of mimicking beaded curtains you will always see through, just provides semi- coverage if you will. I personally think 1 curtain is way too skimpy and you need a minimum of two for each space. Seversl other reviews and even the seller recommended doubling up. I for one couldn't figure out how to do that on a single curtain rod. Couldn't deduct a star for my incompetence but some directions on how to do so would have been nice. For the curtains on the bathroom door I simply used coloured push pins. For the French door I put the first one on a curtain rod and draped the other two over the rod. We don't actually enter and exit through this door so don't have to worry about them falling down. Back to the bathroom "door". Obviously we do enter and exit this room a lot. Have had zero issues with curtains tangling. When I first put up my 12 year-old spent a good 5 minutes entertaining himself running back and forth through and no tangling. In both rooms I have fans blowing and curtains are constantly swaying but no tangling. Remember the cats I mentioned earlier. They are not remotely interested in the swaying curtains and as yet have not pounced on them. I will say that the 2 year-old cat only seemed to be concerned that he could still look out the French door and stare at squirrels; once he ascertained that he could he moved on. All in all for the price and the purpose I needed I am very pleased. Love the colours, adds nice pop to the typical beige painted rental walls.
