WLM Nandita - 24 Karat Natural Incense

We have been buying these for some time and have never had cause to complain. However, there appears to have been a change in the manufacturing process. The incense stick itself has changed and is now so uniform, it is obvious that they are no longer “ hand rolled”. Lighting one was easy with a match and usually went into “smoulder” mode. Now, however, on lighting thick black sooty smoke comes from the stick until you put the initial flame out. Then, the sticks were packed in tens in what was a paper sleeve. Now they are wrapped in plastic ! After years of buying these, this purchase shall be the last. They remind me of some we purchased at Camden market which burned with the same black smoke. They ended up in the rubbish as, I fear, these will,
