this is the best surface I have ever found for pastels and colored pencils. It is well worth the money you get many many layers of color application. It holds its tooth. Heavyweight and a very nice finished product

PACKAGE WAS DELIVERED ON TIME AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

Paper its self is great but it arrived damaged. The pads were wrapped in clear film,but the film was too tight and it warped the paper. Not flat even after 2 days of heavy weights on top of them. Some of the pages have "brown" spots on them as well, it looks it is from the manufacturing process. Manufacturer not responding to complaint and there is no guarantee that a new shippment will not have the same issues. Will not recommend buying online. Next time I'll buy from a US distributor, an art store that stands behind what they sell.

I don’t know what’s happening with pastelmat but the quality is garbage lately. Deep lines through all the sheets that aren’t noticeable until you look for them or start a portrait. It’s horribly frustrating and unprofessional. Do not purchase. I unfortunately bought 3 pads of this paper that were past the return window before I noticed the terrible quality

I can successfully get a wash down and several layers of pastel. The weight is perfect...my favorite!

Pastelmat is my favorite paper to use for pastels. It allows A TON of layers and allows smooth blending. It holds onto the pastel very well, a fixative is not necessary. It is far superior than any other pastel paper I have used. I find it superior to all other sanded papers I have tried as well.

Great pastel paper for portraits

All pastelmat that I’ve used has a certain amount of tooth to it and the pastel colors blend beautifully on it. This product does not allow that to happen. It’s almost more like a hot pressed watercolor paper. I am so disappointed in it.

product is genuine and is damaged. the order was pressed against something and got damaged. There are strokes as somebody used it as writing pad. it is suppose be a high quality product to be delivered intact and undamaged.

As good as before. I have bought the coloured pastelmat before, they are good. Just reorder some white.
