Silverfall (Raven Cursed Book 2)

I was trying to find a book that didn’t have ridiculous, raunchy, lengthy sex scenes in it and I saw someone mention these books on a message board. I wish I could kiss that person! These books are perfect! How she can have a good story, a great heroine, and still have the balance of romance that isn’t overly mushy or ridiculous, is so refreshing!

This is a very good book. The story is focused on our hero and her struggle with her death magic. She gets involved in a situation that involved the fae and shifters and one man’s try to take over everything. We also learn more about where she comes from.

What a doozy. So this book picks up where the first one leaves off. Erin has more self discovery. Asher really needs to step up and claim her is all I’m saying. Mephisto, ugh he’s so shady I’m telling you he’s hiding some pretty big stuff. I wish there was more info about Ian. Some is stated but I feel like a novella needs to be made for him. The ending is crazy and leaves on a cliffy. I love to hate those. All I can say is you need to read book one to understand this one because references are made.

If each book gets increasingly better I’ll no doubt finish this series in a heartbeat. This is better than the first book and has not one but possibly two romantic interests for Erin but she’s got a lot of other problems to deal with first. Her problems seem overwhelming at the end of book 2 so I can’t wait to see how the next book goes.

I would have to say that this book was one of the best I've read. It was well written and had an intriguing plot that has me waiting for the next one in the series. I love that the main character is quirky, funny, strong, and independent. Her relationships are well-developed as well.All in all, I'd say this book is definitely worth five stars and I will be recommending it to others.

This ended with a Cliff Hanger - I hate those and it is the reason for four stars. Don’t get me wrong, a series is great, but my preference is for each to have it’s own ending. That said, this was a good story, but I’m over all the angst that the heroine and her sister and …..has over the heroine’s magic.

I love how Erin is flawed and imperfect. She does try to fight her need for magic but struggles. Corey makes a big mistake and she will do whatever she feels she has to do to support him. I love that they take care of each other. This storyline is really intriguing to me.

McKenzie Hunter is a master for writing “cliff hangers!” That’s why I wait for multiple books in a series to have been released because once you start a series you can’t put her books down.

I loved the first book but this one is even better! Wow! The development of every character, their skills and abilities and their personalities is superb! Beautifully written and every word evokes images..... This is a wonderful book! Please ensure you read them in order!5 stars! A must read!

Absolutely brilliant book , I enjoyed it from start to finish. I love that Erin is a kickass female in series , in hoping Asher and Erin will get together
