I used this for an Anderson sliding glass door. The product was solid, however: I realized the bolt is not separate, which made installing it to a sliding glass door…a process. Yes, that’s my bad as I assumed it was separate. I did get it installed and it took me a few hours to get it just right. The lock handle is sharp on the edges, I will need to slightly sand a little of the harsh corners down. It works, though two times it didn’t recognize my code after install; I reset it and it worked (could be a user error as I get the hang of it).

So I added this lock to my Airbnb and so far 3 guest have “accidentally” closed the door with the lock in the lock position which then bends the mechanism to unlock the lock and well now you have guest who can’t get out of their room! But it’s an easy fix and we’ll it last about 2-3 accidental Jams before either the cheap screws break or the actual lock bracket but the lock itself is solid but def needs to add some sort of lubricant to make the lock smooth again

Installing it was not easy, at all. Once we got through installation it worked great! A few months later, the mechanism stopped working. The buttons stopped working so we keep getting locked out of our house. My bf is currently taking it apart to see what’s wrong with it.
