The Sherlock Holmes Children's Collection: Creatures, Codes and Curious Cases - Set 3

This is my second to buy this set of Sherlock Holmes. My 8-yr-old boys scarfed the first set down, like it were some food. They started when they were 7 years old. The pacing of the story is just as exciting as the original Conan Doyle but the language is easier. My boys are able to follow the details of the case. I intend to introduce them to the unabridged versions as they get older. In the meantime, this will whet their appetites for Holmes.

My son is only 6 and I got him this set of book to read because he loves Holmes .. font are medium big, few illustrations..

These are one of the few sets audio books my boys will listen to over and over again that my husband and I don't mind listening to as well! The books come in a nice box to keep sets organized together, and each book has a corresponding audio book you can access via a QR code in the inside front cover. These abridged versions are detailed enough to feel true to the originals, but the kids understand and enjoy them immensely. We found 1 set at Costco, but had to buy all the rest that Sweet Cherry Publishing has published once we got through those. These are winners!!

I remember reading Sherlock homes stories and watching movies when I grew up . I was waiting for the right age for my kid to understand. It's so nice . I got 2 set . Great for return gifts .

My kid is obsessed with Sherlock Holmes and loves this version.

9 year old enjoys this book and even likes adding voices and accents as he reads.

10 year old loved it. The print is a nice size and the chapters are fairly short so he liked the sense of progress. He struggles with reading after a bad start at school put him off but this has reignited his enjoyment. He likes being able to tell us the story and explain the mystery and motives

Delivered prompty. Arrived in excellent condition. A Xmas present for my granddaughter. She already has one series and loved reading them.
