I have been using Streamlight products professionally and non professionally since 1980. They are too if the line! Absolutely the finest flashlight in the market. However, I feel they made a mistake when building the SL-20 LED flashlight. The old halogen model used a sub D battery pack that provided about 1-1/2 hours of run time. LEDs are more energy efficient so run time could have been extended to several hours. Instead, they used a smaller battery pack and a sleeve to fill the space and made changes to the terminals to prevent the larger battery from being used. I carried a flashlight as a LEO and run time is important when working an accident at night. You don’t want your light quitting!Come on Streamlight! Get a bigger battery in that light.

Amazing!! By far the best light I’ve ever purchased! CHP uses this light and for good reason. It’s one of the best.I ran mine over and it’s still working! Barely any scratches too!For the price.. it’s worth the buy.

I have been having issues with this light since I bought it. The on/off button is garbage, it consistently won't turn on or immediately turns off after it's turned on. Also, recently, the light keeps turning off on me for no apparent reason. It illuminates for a good solid five seconds...then goes off. Not sure what to do with this thing. Considering the cost, I shouldn't have these problems.

As advertized. Brighter than the older ones but not the same quality as when they were made in the US. The switch functions fine, but it has a cheap feel to it.
