Nice lightweight cooler!
I added ice and then chilled cans and followed the steps to let the air out, fold it down four times, lock it and then release the valve. The last part is key to ice retention as it lets you remove excess air. My cans were cold for 24 hours! Great price compared to other brands as well!

Works decent as a cooler... Love the Air Release Value
I purchased this cooler dry bag as a flexible cooler that can keep water and drinks cold and fit into my awkwardly shaped cargo bay of my Can Am Side-by-side. I love that I can just put in cold drinks with no ice, squeeze it into my cargo container attached to the rear of my Can Am and they will stay cool for an hour or two. The stay much cooler for longer if I add ice or frozen gel packs. Happy with my purchase for $19.00. Don't care for the color, but I did not buy it for its looks... I bought it for its functionality... especially its flexability.

Thick material, big bag.
Clip broke first time I used it. Customer service was great and made it right. Knocked off a star because the inside liner ripped the second time I used it. Bummer because I did like the bag. I got the 20L. Bag is big!

Travel - beach and pool cooler excellence
The media could not be loaded. Have used this one several trips - Mexico, east coast beaches. Packs flat to throw in luggage. Easy to fill up with ice at the hotel and throw in your favorite beverage. Keeps things cold all day. Tip - put some ice in the bottom and then drinks, then ice, drink then ice. Layer it. Works amazingly well. Also - when owning and closing - push all air out when re sealing it. Best value in terms of keeping things cool and packing flat. Can’t be beat!

For the price, cant be beat
this is a great value cooler. Have only used once so far, had it out in 100 degree weather for about 6 hours and it kept all of our drinks super cold. there was a fair amount of ice melt but there was still some pieces left and it was still ice cold in the water. No leaks whatsoever. The straps are fine but not heavy duty I think they will last if not abused. Great Product for the price.

Super portable
I take this cooler bag with me everywhere. Float trips, cross country, picnic… I’ve had this item for about 9 months and it’s great. Especially for cramped spaces when you can’t fit a hard sided cooler in, like my small car packed with luggage and sports equipment, or on the kayak. I really love that it two carrying straps so you can wear it like a backpack making it easier to transport when very heavy. Also, the air release valve is handy as well. It’s not going to keep your ice frozen as long as some of the other coolers but the portability has been great for me.Also, we’ve spilled some nasty stuff in there, like milk, and just rinsed it out and let it air dry and it has never become moldy or nasty. This is a great cooler bag.

Disposable best describes this “cooler”
Bought this cooler bag to add some cold storage in addition to my small lunchbox style soft sided cooler. I use the soft sided cooler for long adventure motorcycle trips. It was very cheap and has the same basic design: a soft flexible liner, some insulation and a soft outer liner. I didn’t expect much from my $15 lunchbox style cooler, but I did from the Brr Bag. To set the scene for my soft sided cooler experience:My old cooler has never had a leak, or torn any stitches in two years of regular, hard use. I ride about 10k miles a year on my adventure bike and about 30-40% is off road. OHV trails, logging roads, backcountry discovery routes all around the pacific NW.This BRR bag from Wise Owl literally went ONE day to a motorcycle class where it sat in the shed with ice and drinks for students. When I brought it home from class, I noticed that it had a hole in the bottom. I dropped the plastic bag of ice twice on my garage floor to break it up into small pieces and then placed it in the Brr Bag that morning. It then rode in my hard pannier to class where I put it on the floor of the range shed. I have no idea how this material could get a hole from such light use.The problem now is that water is trapped between the tissue paper thin liner and the outer bag. This negates any insulating properties the bag may have had. The stitches where the bag attaches are also already coming loose from carrying a seven pound bag of ice for half a day. This is unacceptable. I saw the reviews noting the stitching and straps breaking and coming apart, but we all think we’re special and that others don’t take the same level of care we do with our gear. I can tell you, I have quite a lot of experience with gear in different environments and this one was handled for half a day in perfect weather riding on pavement and carrying the smallest bag of ice available for sale.If Wise Owl wants to be treated like an American company (even though the design is the only stateside portion of the business, and everything else is done on the cheap in China) then they need to step up and redesign with proper materials, take care of their customers and not just churn out trash like this bag. This design is good on paper but not if Wise Owl uses such cheap delicate materials and construction methods. I hope they fix this and not just sell Wish-like trash until it is no longer lucrative then rebrand and start over. Time will tell what sort of company Wise Owl is: a money grab until they’re discovered to be terrible, or a company that does the right thing and is recognized in the outdoor community as a rockstar with loyal fans.

Liner ripping but still a good dry bag
As noted by other reviewers, the interior liner began to rip at the stitches just inside the top opening at the corner folds. This occurred upon first usage without any abnormal stress. I doubt if the liner will last very long without coming completely apart at the seam. At the stage where the liner becomes completely undone and loose, I am not sure if it will be useful as a cooler (no air pocket) but should still be a decent 20L dry bag. On a positive note, the exterior material seems durable and the price was attractive. The liner flaw is unfortunate because it is a handy cooler for kayaking.
