Nice set of parts for any 3D printer with a Mk8 Hot End
If there is one part of any 3D printer that must be considered as a consumable it is the hot end nozzles. No matter how careful you are using your printer and whether or not you clean the nozzle each time you change a roll of filament eventually the nozzle will wear out and need replacing.Replacement nozzles can be needed if you use abrasive materials such as carbon fibre enhanced PLA, glow in the dark materials and other filaments that contain certain additives. So it is always advisable to keep some spare nozzles handy.Of course one solution is to switch from the mormal brass nozzles to hardened steel nozzles which of course helps with wear from abrasive materials, but they have their own problems as steel does not conduct heat as well as brass so they typically need you to run the hot end at 5c higher or more to achieve the same melting points for your filaments. This can bring its own challenges if you are using things such as ABS or other high temperature filaments. So its nice to see this little bundle of spares that allow you to acquire both brass and steel nozzles in one package along with some cleaning needles to help clear nozzle blockages and finally a small nozzle spanner for tightening or loosening nozzles during replacement. Getting everything together in one bundle is nice and simple and in tis case also very cost effective. As for the quality of the nozzles they have proved to be very good, easily comparable with any other replacements I've used on my Ender 3 printer. The nozzles provided (12 x brass and 3 x steel) are all 0.4mm types which is the standard size used by most people for normal printing. You do not get other sizes, but these are not so often used unless you have a specific need. The spanner and needles are pretty much the same as those found in numerous other packages, but nonetheless a nice addition to the set. Overall a good set of spare parts to add to your spares drawer if you don't already have them.

Good nozzle set
Time came up for my nozzle on the printer and seen these had same day delivery so snapped them up at first I placed the hardened steel on my printer and with pla the stringing was terrible I thought something was up entirely but turns out it was the steel nozzles are best suited for materials with higher printing temperature overall, quickly switched to the brass and have had zero issues in the slightest.Would recommend this little set just don't be stupid like myself and if printing pla use the brass not steel nozzle

Nice kit, good value but hate the tiny spanner
Firstly i will go straight to the negative for me anyway - the tiny spanner that you only seem to need for tightening up the hardened grey nozzles. This is unfortunate because as a well versed 3d printer i have spanners and wrenches for all nozzle from the V5's to Mk8's etc. All fit all the standard brass nozzles - and i'm not sure why these hardened nozzles are different to the others i have tried. Its not the end of the world but for me it means i have to use a tiny wrench which is actually quite hard to get the nozzle tight without keep slipping off - especially with printer that have all around air ducts and you just need a spanner offset so you don't need to remove the air duct! This might just be a problem for me, but it gets 4 stars just purely for that reason and annoyance! I have 4 spanners from previous 'kits' of nozzle, none fit the hardened.Brass nozzles are well machined, print well and there is no issue with these at all. Hardened nozzles once eventually fitted and tightened print wood fill and glow in the dark without issue - i have a printer that just prints wood fill all the time and there has been no change to the way it prints or wear visible in the nozzle or quality. (normally i can tell with extra strings and slightly fatter lines when using standard brass nozzles after a few weeks).

Good, inexpensive and good spares.
These are great as spares. They are not precision made, in my opinion as some of the bores are not centered, but that's ok. No big deal, they work well regardless! The hardened steel nozzles are essential for printing certain filaments and of late I've been testing out some new Glow in the Dark filaments. Hardened steel is absolutely required for this filament and these nozzles have worked really well for me!

MK8 Buse d'imprimante 3D en acier trempé, buse en laiton de 0.4 mm
Commandé pour une imprimante Prusa Mk3S+ . A monter à chaud !!
