This is the last of three iterations of these easel drafting boards. The first came with a pre-cracked writing surface that was exceedingly thin. The next had such a thin soft wood surface that it bowed in when my tried to use it and it left pencil indentations in the wood which ruined it for a writing surface. So we purchased this item. What a difference! It has a thicker backing of hard wood. It doesn't bow in, it doesn't leave scratches on the surface when you use it for what it is meant for. There were a few more sturdy ones out there, but they were much more expensive. This is an all around great American product.

Quality product as advertised.

Works as hoped. I am using this to rest paperwork that requires review so that it is more upright than flat putting less strain on my neck. No assembly required. It tucks away nicely when not in use. The packing material wasn't full of Styrofoam or other impossible to recycle materials. Good decision, good purchase.

Good quality and great size. The only problem is that the stand doesn’t stay clamped to the board when it’s folded for storage.

Works well for my studio needs. Most impressed by how well it was packaged and protected for shipping.

I needed something for my paint by numbers hobby. I was just using my dining room table, and I was getting neck aches and strining my eyes. This has helped tremendously! No assembly required, and although it's bulky, it's easy enough to fold up and store away

Don't have room for a drafting table...This is more compact but big enough for most products...AdjustableExcellent t-square includedGreat for srudio or on the go...Highly recommended
