I bought this for a gift and they came in empty both of them and like I gave them as a gift to family member code didnt work

No cartridge included, it's a code only as per description. However, the description fails to advise that this code can ONLY be redeemed on the Nintendo EU store and won't work if your account is registered in another part of the world.

I'd only recommend this for the arcade mode. A nice selection of tracks that compares well against Drum n Fun, especially for the price. The RPG mode is tailored for the very young. Pre-Pokémon age, possibly. Flat, by-the-numbers story and dialogue, and each random encounter involves playing the start of small selection of songs over and over again. There's little in the way of meaningful customisation or strategy. It's just a worse alternative to playing the proper game. The character designs are sometimes fun and appealing, but that's the most it has going for it. Again, there's no shame in buying this if you just want more Taiko no Tatsujin songs to play, but I wouldn't get too excited about the Rhythmic Adventure part.
