pretty good, durable foam
I havent used it much but it was reasonably priced and is more than fairly durable. My biggest concern was if the material was cheap and would quickly flake but it seems sturdy so far. They come as three pieces sandwiched together and can be split into two. I bought these to cushion the music gear in my gear bag.I may keep one or more together as the sandwiches provide a very good impact resistant block and I can use them as section dividers in my bag. All in all good for the price. I will update if the foam begins to crumble prematurely or anything else.

Decent alternative to pricey options
These worked well for my little in home video recording studio. I make random game play videos on YouTube and with my wife haming with me in the same room, sometimes her voice would also be picked up on my mic due to the echo in the room. I bought one pack off these and a pack of some thinner(1 inch) styles. Once I hung them up I immediately noticed a difference in the echo within the room(had a total of 18 squares placed around the gaming desks and the makeshift mobile divider wall between my wife ). I plan to buy more of this thicker pad and try to cover as much of the room as possible top drown out even more of the background noise outside and echo.

Thick
They did their job. I used these on a window and a door. I used them mostly to block out the sun from a window and they worked. I used a glue gun to glue them together. It was hard trying to stick them on the door. I had to use super glue and duck tape? I tried using poster strips, but they didn't work :( I would still recommend these as long as you use a really good adhesive. They are thick and pretty soundproof. They arrived on time, undamaged. Thank you!!

WORTH EVERY DOLLAR!
The difference that this foam made in my corner basement recording studio is just unreal. Went from full on echo canyon to solid and no echo at all. I used 12 tiles that are on the wall in front and 4 tiles on the right and left of me and no more echo and my sound quality in my videos went way up. I will buy this again. What makes this the best is that it is 2" thick and not the cheap 1".

Good quality! Highly recommend
Plus: Non of them were vacuum packed, so non of them were squished. Thank you. Almost didn't have bed smell. Cons: Absolutely no adhesives were included. I would highly recommend using Stapler Gun or Some sort of Spray Adhesive I will be trying to use 3M Super 77(I hope it won't melt it.) It did have lite bit of smell. Also What the heck with amazon's shipping department. They placed packing material in some of the boxes with this.

It should be 3.5 stars I think.
My home office/game room had an echo I hated. Even with curtains and my desks/equipment it was still there. So I got like 42 of these panels to place in key spots around the room. I hung most of them with small sewing pins (basically super thin nails) to the drywall. For stuff not on drywall I glued paper to the back and used poster tape. I want to start with my two biggest gripes: (The attached picture reflects both of these). First, they are not 12x12. They are 12x11.75. This is awful when trying piece multiples together. Second, the color varies panel to panel (even in the same package). This wasn't as bad as the first gripe, but may bug some people. Results: They did what I intended them to do reduced the echoes when talking and such. I know they aren't sound deadening, so I didn't expect that. But I do think I did expect a little more from them. It sounds like a normal room now, which is good but not great. Music from my wall mounted bookshelf speakers does sound great now. But the sound is still easily carried throughout the house. Again, not expecting sound deadening, but didn't expect my wife to know what song I was listening to at half volume from downstairs. Not faulting the panels, just was hoping for a touch more. Final thoughts: The seller was good, the product was mostly decent outside of the size/color. (Meaning they are a nice density, strong foam, and package well without vacuum sealing). I would buy again due to the price I got them at. But my expectations definitely wouldn't be as high next time. Mainly for the size/color. Additional notes: A large old paper cutter works great to cut them to size. They are not fire resistant and will melt/burn.

Okay for surfboard finish sanding
I use these foam pads for finish sanding of surfboard blanks. I place a sanding screen under them and it sticks to the foam by friction allowing it to remove high spots and sand out irregularities. This foam is fairly high quality, which doesn't stick as well to the sanding screen, but it works good enough. Can't find any cheaper foam for sale on Amazon or anywhere online. The best foam I have used has been the cheapest foam, but it is increasingly hard to find for some reason.

Great For Blocking Out Sound
I purchased these in early 2019 as I record a number of my segments from home for my podcast. These foam pieces were perfect as I have a large wooden box that I padded with them. I place my Yeti microphone inside of it and am able to have clear sound - such a great purchase and one I would do regardless of the size of the space you're recording in.
