Was easy to use and added to look of house.Will add to more beds

This was the perfect product for my needs. I have a long double-picket fence leaving a lot of grass and weed potential for the flower bed I'm putting in down the property line. It went together like a charm, working in 8-unit sections that I then joined at the bed for a run of more than 25 feet plus the turn of almost 4 feet. A couple of taps with a wooden mallet and it sank right down into my tilled soil. Here in the River Parishes of south Louisiana, we have super good soil from centuries and centuries of Mississippi River silt - I can see it might be tricky in heavy clay or junk-land-fill soil, but it went in incredibly easy and leveled beautifully here. I then folded newspaper four times to create eight layers, put that behind it and under this thick fence and covered that with thick mulch. So far it is holding up great between torrential rain and 95-degree+ temps. I found it easy to use - the corner connector included with the packages was very handy. I can see that I'm likely to repeat this order for other sections of my yard.It also was delivered very promptly, packaged well, totally undamaged, not "warming" required.

For the price, these are the best edging option I have found. I'm a not terribly strong middle-aged lady gardener, and they were not difficult to get in. I just used a rock! Not recommended, as my wrist ached afterward. Like another reviewer, I found that linking together a 2-ft section and then pounding it in seemed to work well. Yes, when you get one hammered in the others down the line pop back up some, but it isn't hard to get them all in reasonably straight. I didn't attempt any fancy shapes.They do the job I needed them to do, which is 1.) separate grass and flower bed, and 2.) keep dirt from running into the sidewalk and street in the strip along the road. I'll be ordering more to complete the landscaping. They don't look especially attractive or professional. As far as I can tell, there's no way to get my garden beds to look that good UNLESS I hire a pro, which I'm not about to do. I'd rather spend the money on fabulous plants.

Started as a 1 star, but company rep came through and fixed the packaging problem that warped edging sections which made most of them unusable. They tended to crack on installation. Wonderful customer service. Product works well as edging, easy to install, sturdy and reusable. Since I purchased these in 2011, I also used them to edge a planter box to add more height and to encircle a fabric Smart pot onion planter that dried out too quickly in recent hot months. Extra connectors are easily available on Amazon at a reasonable price.

Looks great very sturdy, I’ll be curious to see how it hold up through summer.
