A source for anyone doing genealogy research of that era.
A well researched history of ranching by Spanish immigrants in New Spain and later in the Northern Terrorities of Mexico. An excellent source for anyone doing genealogy research of their ancestors. The book I recived is a first edition that was only checked out once from the library. It may have been in the stacks and perhaps storage and not in a temperature controlled environment. Still, the book is in good condition.

History
Once again I am biased. I watched Jack do the research for this book. He traveled to the library in Zacatecas to look at hundreds of land grant scrolls. I spent time amongst those books. There is a hand written history of Mexico in a sealed box. Over 800 pages written by ignacio Zaragosa. Jack Jaxon to me , wrote thousands of pages and was told by the Aggies to cull some of the pages. It is a fine work.
