Talking Sorting Hat

This hat is really amazing, I was surprised how realistic it looked like, would highly suggest for HP fans any time not only for Halloween!

We had a Harry Potter themed Halloween event at work this year. We had witches/wizard hats and wands and a few other things, but I wanted something more for the kids to play with....something distinctly Harry Potter. I wasn't even thinking about getting a Sorting Hat, but when I saw this it struck me as being the perfect addition, and that was a heck of a good choice! During the event, kids enjoyed playing with all the Harry Potter things we had set up - the glasses, a golden snitch, etc. - but this hat was the star of the show! Nearly everyone tried it on and loved it! The hat is quite entertaining and the fact that it moves is amazing! Most people were pretty happy with whatever message they got, but occasionally we'd get funny reactions from people that didn't want to be in Hufflepuff or whatever it is they got. The one and only downside to this hat is that it doesn't stay on heads very well. It takes a little balance to keep it on your head, but this is understandable considering that it talks and moves. It was a small negative, but this was still much loved. Really, it was probably one of the best things we bought for the event! If you've got a little Harry Potter fan at home, or especially if you're hosting a Harry Potter themed event, I very highly recommend this!!!

Great birthday gift for kids who love Harry Potter. It cute and the perfect size for the kids. Soft and durable yet sturdy enough to be passed around to get everyone sorted into there house, even adults. Have fun and a laugh.

THIS SORTING HAT IS A MUST for Harry Potter Parties!!!!!! It was WAY BETTER THAN EXPECTED!!!!!! I read the reviews before I ordered it and I found it to be be EVEN BETTER than the best review! It was SO ANIMATED!!! The voice was clear and the movements were FANTASTIC!!! Everyone at the party got a huge kick out of it, from adults to kids! Truly, excellent price for a whole lot of quality!!! It speaks French also...not sure how to turn off the French part, but the English was loud and clear! The details of the patchwork "face," fabric were beyond expectations!!!

This was adorable. The size was smaller than expected and not for adults. Wish there were more sayings. Arrived late so couldn't use for themed party but would have been perfect.

It is a very good toy

I first saw the 2023 version of this hat at Barnes & Noble and bought it for $55.00 but soon regretted my purchase when I got home. although the hat for the 2023 version is made by the exact same company and could argue that the cloth material is much better and looks more realistic to the movie of Harry Potter, you have to control the hat by using two hands squeezers on each side of the hat (hard to do if you have arthritis ) to open its mouth and close the mouth when it speaks, and the volume is extremely low. I thought to myself there has to be a better version out there, maybe perhaps by another company and found this hat online and discovered that this is apparently considered the 2022 version that came out made by the exact same company that made this year’s version, but it significantly cheaper cost And better value of what you get from the product. The speech that comes out of the hat is much louder than the 2023 version, and has automatic with the gestures, instead of having to control it by hand movements by squeezing . I did more research and found out that the reason why apparently the 2023 is so much more expensive is because it’s considered the “noble collection” replica which I think is absolutely ridiculous and absurd. Honestly shame on you Warner brothers. Overall, this hat meets all the expectations and ease of use much better than the original one that I bought this year. The only criticism I can give the hat is that it is made for children head sizes so it is a little hard to get onto my head since the hat is smaller. Other then that’s it is fantastic and a lot of fun!

I would advise people if they can't understand Spanish then do not buy this as I purchased it and it's in Spanish and can't be changed! So just be careful! 🙄😡
