I'm a telecom technician and needed to carry 3 tools on my person at all times on the job: Diagonal Cutters a can wrench, and a razor knife. As you can imagine, these tools aren't pocket safe, but I have pocket carried them for years since I didn't want to have them lugged around in a clumsy floppy huge leather sack of a tool belt.Now upon buying this thing, it fit everything.. in the one big pocket, but the other pockets were too small to use. I had to unstitch the front pockets and restitch them to fit my can wrench and collapsible razor knife. The original version of the pockets seem to be for little screwdrivers, little wrenches and a pair of pliers like I use.I know what someone would say to my review then - why 5 stars? Because even though I had to mangle the thing into what I needed, the base quality of the materials held up and let me do it without it turning into a turd. It's good, and I am enjoying not having my pliers cut my pockets anymore, or losing the knife in someones back yard/snow. The front yellow tab can holster a huge screwdriver or 2 which helps get them out of my way when climbing. It's also flat enough to fold by my leg for keeping it on while driving, holding the tools tight enough so that they don't fall out. Something that a full tool belt was never able to do.
