Although very secure and easy to connect to the seat
A very high quality product with one proviso: Be sure you test fit this item before the 30 day return expires. Although very secure and easy to connect to the seat, it won't work on all frames due to frame dimensions and differing cable routing systems. For instance, it doesn't work on my Electra Townie or daughter-in-law's Electra Cruiser - the mount has to be set so low, the baby seat rides too close to the rear tire.

Installation of this 2017 bracket was easier than the 2016 ...
Installation of this 2017 bracket was easier than the 2016 version due to hardware locations and ease of access. This bracket also releases the bike seat easier too.

Excellent - bought two of them
These are great, bought an extra one to fit on my bike as well so I can ride with the kid. Lock is sturdy, snap is in excellent. Bit tricky on the take out, but just push down and then pull and it releases nicely.
