My daughter the cosmetologist recommended the Redken Brand at first if was shampoo and conditioner that are ph balanced to strengthen my hair, (after covid), then I purchased the blondage to keep the yellow out of my white grey hair. It does a great job.

Does not offer much hydration in my opinion. Great for neutralizing brassiness though! I am going to try using my IGK Money Mask or my It’s a 10 mask and I think that may be a game changer! To be fair I have blonde , heavily highlighted hair though pretty healthy 🩷

Starting with my hair type, for context: I have extremely coarse hair, with a far too healthy supply of red pigment/tones. I was born with red hair that turned a yellow blond in my early years, to a very dark blond in my teens. So when I go blond, I have to go strong on the bleach/developer and with ash toner. Otherwise, I'm a brassy carrot head. And I've always fought a swift return of brass between bleaching. I must incorporate a color-depositing shampoo and conditioner to keep the brass away. But I also need a nourishing product to counter-balance the chemical damage. Redkin Blondage has been the first to successfully deposit color; and nearly eliminate the both breakage and the appearance of damage. Love it!

I know all purple shampoo leaves your hair dry so it's not magic but this one was the least drying I ever used, and I used several (rusk: the weakest, joico: not drying medium strength and fenola: super strong but super drying). Decided for this one beacuse my hair feels more manageable after. Hope it helps.

I used for 6 weeks and I couldn’t tell a difference. I could see brassy tones.
