Get what you pay for
I originally bought an aftermarket membrane. Before replacement, TDS was 18, after 28. Flushed multiple times. Replaced with this one, flushed once and TDS is 14. Might go down a little more. Incoming is 485. Sometimes you do get what you pay for. Lesson learned.

Can't beat the performance.
We love our APEC under counter water filtration R.O. system, enought to buy factory replacement consumables. Maybe a little more expensive than some of the aftermarket stuff, but probably better. Probably not the best place to skrimp, in my opinion.

Worked.... for a bit (UPDATED)
I was glad to find the right membrane, and it worked great for about a month and a half. Now it's already stopping water flow almost completely. Not sure if I'll have to just rebuy another one or if I can find one that works better, so time to do some research. Just be aware, this one might not last long if you choose to go this route. UPDATE: Company reached out to me and had me run a few tests on the system... then sent me a new membrane when we realized something must be wrong with the one I bought. Good customer service and I appreciate them making it right.

OEM is worth the small premium
My Tap water TDS level is 450ppm before filtration. Post filtration it tests at 6ppm I replaced with an off brand Membrane after 4years of use only to see my TDS go to 37ppm. Replaced with an APEC and will never stray again.

Brought down my readings big time
My Reverse Osmosis system was giving me a very high reading. I kind of thought it was the Stage 4 causing the Issue. It solved the problem and am now back to very minimal readings. It was also a perfect fit into my system.
