When you don't know for sure... get all of them!
When we replaced our faucet core the replacement didn't come with the adapter/extender. I tried to find one everywhere and eventually went online. The only problem was I didn't have a name for the part and nothing looked exactly like what was on it originally. So, for a few bucks I bought this pack which has all their extenders and one of them fit perfectly. I wish I had just seen this in the beginning. If you're unsure what to get, this is a HUGE trial and error avoidance mechanism.

Just what I needed!
The kit contains 3 adapters. One was just what I needed. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I now have 2 adapters for which I have no use. I will order another set just so I can have a spare of the one I do need.

American Standard is Subpar and not worth the money.
we buy this kit annually when the soft plastic wears out. American standard why do i need 3 adapters i wont use? Why do i have to buy so much extra junk i dont need? I just need the weakest part you make in groups of three or four so i can make one purchase once every few years. i just need the one. I am a general contractor. I HATE AMERICAN STANDARD!!!
