Tefal Smart 'N' Light 2 Slice Digital Toaster TT640840, Black

Have been using the kettle more than 3 months now. It works and looks great. The ability of setting the temperature is really helpful. It boils the water quite quick.

Great kettle. Keeps water at boiling temp for 20 minutes

Smart features are excellent, easy to warm up pre-boiled water to a comfortable temperature to make coffee / tea etc.The spout can leak from time to time when pouring, also steam can billow out during the boiling process - not sure if this is a common issue or a defect with the one I received. The button for opening the lid can also sometimes stick. Again, not sure if this is representational of a design flaw or if just a defect with the one I received.

I’m so pleased with this. Temperature is displayed on the side and counts up as it’s boiling. I can’t stop watching it :-). You can easily select temperature required or just a straight forward boil. It boils quite quickly and it’s very sleek and looks nice on the kitchen side. I would say it’s a little heavier than my last kettle. I would also mention that I’m right handed, the max fill marker is inside the kettle and clearly visible if using your right hand to hold it, however, it isn’t printed on the other side so I figured if holding the kettle with your left hand this might be hard to see. The same goes for the outer display which is only on one side and is visible when the handle is on the right hand side. If using your left hand you might have the kettle with the handle on the left side in which case the display will face the wall. All in all though, I think this is a great kettle and excellent price with the discount. Very pleased!

Thus product doesn't have any smart app nor does it interact with smart AI's. It has a digital display on the front which tells u the keep warm temperature. It features 2 buttons on the top of the handle 1 allows you to switch between 3 different temps the other just fast boils to 100. It's very nice to look at however lacks anyway to tell u wat the water lvl is . Easy to clean. The button on the lid needs a redesign it's hit and miss if it ops it open. Overall I think this is a little over priced for the lack of actual smart features so if this comes on amazon warehouse deals I would only recommend it then and below it's rrp .

sleek, simple and great quality

Purchased this to reluctantly replace my Tefal Avanti Elite which at 25 years old met with some clumsy operating error that meant the knob fell off. Still works though!This appeared to be its blood successor having the digital display and memory function, I also considered at 25 yrs Tefal products were clearly good quality and made to last. I was however not impressed by the price of this toaster, OK Amazon have it at a good discount but at over £70 RRP this is an expensive two slice toaster! I therefore had high hopes.Problems in design:-*The handle doesn't feel very sturdy.*The controls and display are one end meaning you will put this on your worktop facing forward, the removable crumb tray is then at the back meaning you have to completely lift the toaster and turn it to empty. Silly.*There is a gully around the slots at the top which unsurprisingly catches all the crumbs and then they sit there again meaning regular maintenance is required!Problems in operation* Takes ages - mode 3 is 2:05mins - old toaster used to do it in 1:30mins* The settings are pre determined, 3 not enough - 4 too much - hard luck.* The times seem to alter accounting for residual heat but I found the toast just didn't brown as much the second time. This also creates confusion about what mode is it actually on? and how then to compensate when it comes up raw.* Only toasts on one side no matter which slot. - see belowMAJOR ISSUEIts quite simple that this toaster doesn't brown evenly on each side of the bread. I have tried it many times now in experiment but its still just the same regardless of bread type or setting.To that end its not fit for purpose and combined with the design annoyances I have reluctantly decided it must go back. I will be returning it.I have no idea how this toaster is Smart and I am very disappointed in Tefal and will be looking to another brand now.

Fast boil like the keep warm function pleased with purchase.

Der Wasserkocher sieht sehr gut aus und scheint gut verarbeitet zu sein. Dafür gibts zwei Sterne. Leider konnte ich ihn jedoch nicht ausprobieren, da es sich bei dem Stecker um einen Typ E Stecker handelt.

This is a great kettle, it is easy to use,boils quickly and looks very stylish.Other than that I would say that if buying in Australia you will also need a UK to AU adaptor also available on Amazon for less than $10, this was noted in product details but i missed reading it.

Other than great looks, digital interface, this toaster has disappointed due to non -uniform and partial browning.
