On Aug 8, 2021 we had to say goodbye to our sweet dog Sammy. It was and is the hardest thing I have ever had to do and while the pain of losing her will never completely go away this item does help me have a spot in our yard where I can go to remember her. The item came quickly was in good working order and I had no issues with it. At night when it gets dark the light comes on (mine is very bright, some other reviewer mentioned it not being bright?) and it is a special way to remember your pet. I recommend this to anyone that wants to memorialize there pet in a special way.Update: 9/25/21 I still like the item however the sensor that determines when to turn the light on when it gets dark suddenly stopped working so the lights are on all day. So not sure how long the battery will continue to work when it is using energy all day long and charging at same time. I have contacted the seller to see what if anything they will be willing to do since I am past the 30 day return/replacement window...I will update when I hear back from themUpdate:9/26/21 Seller got back to me promptly and asked about weather conditions in my area (i.e.Rain) and if I could send pictures of the item lit in daylight. Told them I kept item indoors when it rained and sent them photos. They promptly responded back and said they would be sending a replacement in 3 business days. Have to say so far they have been very responsive and understanding. I will update when and if I receive a replacement but so far this seller seems great.Update:9/28/21 Notified by seller that my replacement has been shipped and should receive it by 10/10/21. I will make a final update when I receive the replacement.Updat:9/29/21 - To my surprise my replacement arrived today. They had said by 10/10 but it came to today. It may be one that was returned or refurbished not sure it did look like it may have been used but the item works so I am satisfied. Hopefully this one will continue to work beyond 6weeksUpdate:9/2/2023- I was going over my reviews and came across this one I did back in 2021. I just wanted to let everyone know that the replacement item I received two years ago which I keep outside all year round IS STILL WORKING GREAT and I haven't even had to replace the original battery yet.

It is perfect for my puppies resting place I originally wanted something that had a light on it so when the headstone come in it will shine at night and this is perfect and shines bright. I saw a review that said the solar doesn’t work but I have had no issues with the solar at night it turns on automatically. This is perfect for your pets resting site.

Bought this for my co-worker who had just lost her dog Buddy. Everything was great when out of the box the light went on then the next day the light stopped working even after putting it in the sun using the solar panel and adding new batteries.
