This battery charger comes with a cord to adapt it for use it in the car. I haven't used this feature yet but this charger works quite well and quickly plugged into an outlet in the house! I bought it as a back up to my Canon charger and it works as well as the Canon. I think it's a great buy!

I lost the charger for my old Canon G12, and I purchased this so that I can keep going with the camera. This charger works like it's supposed to. No drama, and at a good price.

Like others here, I purchased this battery charger when I misplaced the charger for my Canon G12 camera. (I put it in a safe place; I just can't remember where that was.) It appears to be well made, it works fine, and I'm not sorry I didn't buy the much more expensive option. The plug folds out of the charger. It comes with a connection for my car's cigarette lighter, which is nice to have, but I doubt I'll ever use it. What it didn't come with, and is the reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5, was documentation or instructions. When you plug it in a red light comes on. What happens when the battery is charged? Does the light go out? Turn green? Or is it just an indication that it's plugged in? I may never know.If my experience is any indication, you can buy this with confidence.

I confess to being a brand loyalist so when I needed to replace the battery charger for my Canon G12, I immediately went to the brand choice. But after seeing the price tag ($40?!?), I researched other options and was happy to come across STK's. It arrived promptly and the reviews I read proved to be true, does the EXACT SAME JOB in the EXACT SAME WAY for half the price. I would HIGHLY recommend buying this version. It's compact and works like a charm.

So happy with this purchase it worked like a charm and charged my Powershot SX30IS battery rather quickly!! We had purchased another one and it was a fail!!This comes with a car charger which makes it all a plus.

I misplaced my Canon charger, but didn't want to pay a lot for another as I fully intended to find my original one again. So, The STK charger seemed a good price, with good reviews. The day it came I was ready to head north with my camera, so I charged the camera battery up with no problem with the STK charger. As I finished packing, I found my lost Canon charger! Its great to have 2 chargers, and at STKs price, theres no reason not too. It also comes with a car charger, which I did not have. Now I am covered 3 ways! I only gave 4 stars because I have only used it once so far... but come to think of it, thats the last battery charge I have made and it has been holding very very well !
