Been eating Zone bars for ages and just couldn't take the chemical cocktail any longer (yeah I know everything is chemicals, but you know what I mean). I've tried loads of different bars, trying to find a good balance of macros, with lower carbs, no sugar alcohols or sweeteners, and decent protein. The fish oil and the oats are a nice bonus. These bars pretty much check all the boxes for me. Taste wise, they're great. No weird aftertaste, and not too sweet with a nice coconutty taste. I like the generous amount of tiny chocolate chips, that are also not too sweet. Just reordered my second box, so yeah, recommended.

I've tried many, many protein bars. I think these are my favorite. I like the texture, the flavors are fresh and not fake tasting. It's an easy bar to eat..not like choking down other bars. Not too dense, not too dry...kinda, just right. Good amount of protein and not heavy on the carbs.

I got the chocolate coconut flavor. The first thing I noticed when opening one is kind of an overpowering whiff of alcohol, which must be from the chocolate liqueur. The bars smell like kahlua to me, which I don’t love. If I’m reaching for a healthy morning snack I am definitely not in the mood for booze.The flavor is ok. I don’t like sweet stuff and I hate that nearly all protein bars are either sweet or, they’re those inedible dry meat bars. I got these hoping they would be less sweet because the sugar content is low, but they are still way too sweet for me. Probably that chocolate liqueur again. These bars also don’t taste or smell like coconut at all to me, it’s just an overpowering chocolate flavor. And then chocolate chips on top of it.I do like the texture. It’s very dense and chewy and I can tell just from eating it that it’s going to actually put a dent in my hunger. I just wish they made these in, like, a plain flavor. Just plain old oats. I would like that. I would not re-buy this flavor but I would try this brand again.

These bars seem to have been discontinued by the company who makes them, which is a real shamed because this is an excellent product. I’m an avid rock climber and used to eat one of these after every workout to help retain and build muscle. I found that after I started eating these I’d feel less worn out after climbing. Most protein bars are full of unhealthy oils and preservatives but these are quite the opposite. Oatmega uses organic whey protein, oats, and omega oils, which is such a great bar recipe. I really hope someone at least buys this product and either keeps it going or repackages it as something else. I’m really going to miss these bars.

I like many of the flavors of the Oatmega bars, but this is my absolute favorite. I have tried many different snack options, but these bars are the best for being filling and lasting until my next meal. I also love that I feel like I'm getting a treat, even though there are only 5 mg of sugar in each bar. Win-win!! I can get some flavors at my local store, but this one I have only found online. Well worth the cost and wait!

I really like these protein bars, they actually taste good! I have to be careful because they use whey protein, so I've had to look for plant-based alternatives. But I would definitely order these again.

This bar is the full of superfoods and very low in sugar. It tastes incredible and is actually filling in a great way (not a heavy or bloated way, that many bars can lead to, or the alternative of still being hungry!). Love love love this bar!

This is quite possibly the worst thing I have ever put in my mouth. It tastes like rancid fish oil with a hint of tea and dirt. I got the chocolate coconut flavor and it tastes like neither chocolate nor coconut. It is a thick and dry bar that is very hard to chew so even the texture is bad. I couldn't even get through one bar, I had to toss it. I honestly don't know how anyone can stomach these. Keep in mind, I had low expectations as I eat a lot of protein bars so I didnt expect them to knock my socks off, but these were a particularly nasty surprise. Maybe I got a bad batch, but they were not expired. Fortunately, I was able to get a refund!
