Nice bag!
This is a well constructed bag. Larger than I thought it would be with plenty of space to hold items. Sides open for easy access and it looks fantastic on the Harley. All seams are stitched well and studs secured. The bag came with plenty of straps and even a rain cover! Easy to set up and secure to bike. Very pleased. The only suggestion I have for improvement is to use metal for the buckles. Highly recommend tis bag!

Very well constructed and will be great for long distance travel
This is a very versatile bag, although a bit large. Very well constructed and will be great for long distance travel.

Quality and price point is second to none!
I would like to first start off by saying.. WOW! What a well made backpack. The quality of these products really blow me out of the water for the price they are sold at. I have seen these types of backpacks range from $3-$400 easily. The stitching is very well done and seems like it will last for some time. The storage on this thing is pretty amazing, especially if you are like me and love long rides. I would be willing to even say this would most likely support cross country rides. I also love the fact that it comes with straps, both the top cylindrical bag has its own strap and can be carried separately and the backpack itself has backpack straps for ease and mobility. I would recommend this bag to anyone who wants a good bang for their buck. Hats off to you Viking Bags, superior quality at an affordable price!

This is an awesome bag!
We love this bag! My husband rides a 2004 Heritage Softail and it fits perfectly on the back sitting either on the passenger seat or on the luggage rack. He prefers the luggage rack as it gave him a little more stability. We went from Harrisburg, PA to Myrtle Beach and it stayed snuggly in place whole trip. He fit about five days worth of Tshirts, pants/shorts, socks, etc. in the bag, plus bathroom bags for both of us, and his CPAP machine! The bag is very sturdy and fits quite well on the back. We compared this bag to a similar product of a different bike brand prior to purchasing. This one is bigger and the price is much more reasonable for a well-made product. If you are not concerned about "brand" this is definitely the way to go.Prior to purchasing this bag I read other reviews - the one consistent drawback I saw was that the plastic hooks break. My husband has used the bag a few times, so far the clips are good, but I could see how they may get broken. I think if you're just careful with them you should be okay. This is really a great product!

There are lots of pockets and slipped on to the sissy bar easily. Side pockets are expandable and if has straps ...
Bag was larger than I expected and well built. There are lots of pockets and slipped on to the sissy bar easily. Side pockets are expandable and if has straps to carry as a back pack. But the best feature it that both bags open on the side making it easily accessable when loaded. Great bag!

dirty cloths, or whatever separated
stylish bag with lots of room, with or without top roll bag. side pockets expand. main cavity has a Velcro adjustable shelf if you need to keep shoes, dirty cloths, or whatever separated, sissy bar pocket uses 2 rods with 3 positions each so sizing has a lot of adjustment, comes with straps to secure it. top roll bag attaches quickly.

Lasted a 17 hr road trip with no luggage rack to support it!
This bag is a great value, I purchased and just used it to do a 17 hour one way bike trip (11 hour car ride) to Padre Island, TX. the bag held up pretty well and I didn't even have a luggage rack to support the bottom. It held on to the sissy bar quite well (minor tightening along the way). Before we headed home on another 18.5 hr trip, I went to Lowes and rigged up a luggage rack to help support the bottom of the bag. It was fully loaded down (probably over loaded) with mine and the old ladies stuff for our trip and was packed to the gills. I was skeptical and read plenty of reviews before purchasing a travel bag and this one pulled through. One negative about the pack... the strapped supplied held up pretty well but the plastic clips that attach to the bag broke when I tried to backpack carry the bag onto the beach. That is the only negative, you could use a better strap to secure it like I did and there were no more problems.
