Loved it!It came in a cute box with ribbon and sample matcha powder. The wisk came apart in the midddle a bit, but it still works.Overall I loved it.

I've used it pretty much every day for the past few weeks and it's still in great shape. I don't think the bowl or the bamboo scooper are necessary though, unless you're giving it away as a gift. Would have been great to have had the option to just buy the whisk and holder separately for less.

Product came well packaged, quality looks great. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

bought this set as a gift for someone new to matcha. it arrived in a white box with a red ribbon tied around it. unfortunately, amazon placed it inside a thin plastic envelope, without any padding. of course, it did not protect the content which arrived damaged. the main attraction - ceramic bowl was broken into two large pieces and many small ones. one side of the bowl stamped small white flower., which was not pictured. the whisk and the scoop look fine and should be ok to use. for presentation, the dark bamboo looks nice, though (as someone mentioned) had to say if it was dark bamboo or painted.fyi: no dimensions of the bowl are listed. it is about 3.5 inches in diameter and shallow. just be aware that whisking matcha in such a shallow vessel is a challenge. the whisk is standard in size, so to use it for whisking matcha, one would need a wider and deeper bowl (about 4.3 inches by 3 inches plus).this set and the box would make a nice gift, as long as the bowl is used for things like drinking prepared tea or serving sweets, etc.
