Electrolux 242252603 Frigidare Water Valve, Blue | Green

This part was exactly what I needed to get my water line working. Very satisfied with this purchase, and so far it is working fine.

Perfect fit. Easy to install.

Made in a very large, east Asian country and fit and finish shows it. Functioned well immediately after installation. Long term durability is an open question; this obviously is to replace the identical failed valve originally installed in my refrigerator. We'll just have to see...

Product arrived early, was as expected. Cost half as much as other appliance websites, and was the same item. Installed in minutes, no leaks. Only thing preventing 5 stars, the diaphragm causes it to be loud when it opens and water runs through it. There is no problem knowing now when the icemaker is calling for water. Not really annoying, just louder than the original (hard to describe the noise, think of medium-pitch vibration). On the plus side, though, when the valve closes there is no water hammer like the original (which I’m sure is what led to it’s demise).Overall very pleased.

Super easy to install. Obviously you'll want to shut the valve off that feeds water to your fridge Small adjustable wrench and a 6-in-1 screwdriver will do the trick. Don't have to be an appliance repair person or mechanic to change it out. If you're not sure you can do it, YouTube is your friend. You'll see just how simple it is.

Was exactly what i needed, ice maker works again. Install is slightly different because the bracket is a little off but totally a non issue.

Part works fine. However it allows water to flow slightly too long, so that water overflows the icemaker into the ice tray. However this may be due to the ice maker which I replaced at the same time.

Does what it should, easy to install with help from youtube.

Purchased this valve at better price than my local option. It worked perfectly.

I was a little nervous about installing the plastic waterline that goes from the water valve to the ice maker. It just pushes into the water valve. But it was super easy and worked perfect. No leaks. Very easy to install.
