Great for cheap Full Body Tracking For VR
I was able to snag a Xbox 360 Kinect for the low price of $5, and bought this to connect it to my computer for full body tracking. The full body tracking is good enough for basic uses, it's very basic but it works well. The Kinect also works as a really good IR illuminator for playing VR in the dark.I've used this adapter for about a total of 50 hours now and its still working great, would recommend.

Kinect XBox 360 Adapter works great!
I'm giving four stars because the first time I ordered this product was around Christmas time for my kids Christmas gift...XBox 360 kenect. It worked great for about a week then overheated and quit working. I arranged to have it sent back and Amazon of course sent the new one back next day which happened to be a Holiday. The new one arrived before I could send them the broken one back because Fedex was closed on that day. Anywag, the new Kinect Adapter works great. We have had it for about 2 months now and have had no lroblems with it at all.

FBT PCVR With This And K2VR
This product makes it easy to connect an Xbox 360 Kinect to your PC for full body tracking in VR. Use K2VR - free, simple and open-source - rather than Driver4VR. I own both and K2VR is far easier to use. The important thing is that this adapter does the job it's supposed to. I'll buy another

Destroyed my USB port
This did not work, and actually destroyed the USB port I plugged it into.I plugged the Kinect into it, I plugged the power adapter into power, and then plugged the USB port into my PC. There was a loud pop, and the smell of Ozone, and the PC rebooted. I immediately unplugged it from the PC, but the damage was done. My front panel USB ports no longer work, and I have not tried to use this on anything else.
