Do you know your way around a soldering iron perhaps?
Ok so I bought two of these beasties for my boys, one for each of them, back in January. Now, the older one is a lot tougher on it than the younger one. Not surprisingly... So these pillows have spent more time getting fixed than actually working.Anyhow... When it breaks and it will because instead of soldering it like a normal human being would, they used HOT GLUE... I'm gonna tell you how to fix it. Takes about 5-10 minutes.Get yourself some wire strippers, a soldering iron (if you don't have one, get one. if not? then you'll have to do this over and over again, trust me),scissors, and some electrical tape.Plug in the soldering iron so it can come up to temperature while you play 'find the wire'.You have to zip open the battery pack, pull the battery box out, then cut the little bag open near the off/on button. Dig around the polyfill and find the little black box. There is an annoying bit of mesh covering the hard box that operates the switch with wires leading to the battery box, cut the netting away so you can see the black box. Now, the issue always seems to extend from the white wire that is connected to the little black switch box(at least that is the prime example in BOTH pillows I have). Try to remove as much of the cheap "solder" (a.k.a. hot glue) off the silver prong on the upper part of that box, and while you're at it, try and find the white wire that is hiding somewhere in the pillow because it managed to break away from the cheap solder job (surprise surprise)or snapped off/slipped out.Once you've found the white wire, strip the coating with the smallest hole that is on your wire stripper. Once you've got the copper exposed(I usually have about a half inch to an inch), wrap that puppy around that silver square dealie with the hole in it. You'll have to hold it in place as best you can. If you get it wrapped right, then you don't have to so much. It should hold on it's own. Then break out your warm soldering iron (if you have it) and solder the wire. Once you have a good solder on it, and it's cooled (doesn't take long), then take a small piece of electrical tape and tape that puppy up, making sure you tape some of the wire in there too, so in case the kid yanks on it, it won't break the wire. Then push everything back inside the pillow and zip it up.Now, you should have a working pillow again. My kids have trouble finding the zipper for this pillow, your kids might not. If you are really concerned with them getting into the polyfill, you can always resew that little bag that holds the battery pack back together, or glue it or something.Hope this helps someone.

Great pillow for kids!
I bought this pillow for my 4 year old son. He is afraid of the dark and I thought this would help at bedtime. It arrived sooner than expected. It is very soft and glows very bright. My son loves it! We've had it for a couple months and is still working well. At one point, it got stuck on the color red, but we changed the batteries and that fixed it. The only thing that bothers me about the pillow is that the on/off label on the outside doesn't line up well with the switch on the inside, so it takes a couple tries to turn it on and off. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

Poor quality
The pillow is soft and colors bright. However, ours only worked for one night. When looking at the battery pack, the wires one had been broken sometime before and soddered back together with no protective covering. The "on" button on it acctually says "no" and couldn't tell if it was on a timer to turn off or not. We thought batteries were dead after first night but changing the batteries didn't help either. Needless to say our 5yr. was distraught the next night when her pillow she loved didn't work anymore and never would.

Buyer Beware!
I purchased this as a birthday gift for my granddaughter who desperately wanted one. I failed to realize that this wasn't the "name brand" product and that is totally my fault. Delivery was excellent, as always, with Amazon, but when I opened the box, this pillow light was just wrapped in plastic...no box and no instructions. The battery unit was inside the pillow, accessed by a small zipper, which it appeared you must take take out every time you wanted to turn it on. I'm not positive about that because when I put batteries in the case, absolutely nothing happened. Maybe I got a lemon, but I won't be ordering any product from this manufacturer again.

very cool
My daughter love this the quality is good the light it give off is very nice a soothing I even enjoy looking at it. But.. And itโs kind of a big but. There is no auto off feature the lights will run as long as you let them meaning that you will go through batteries fast. i would recommend this with that warning.

The company is great I ordered 2 pillows for my 2 nieces and ...
The problems others have reported about the battery pack are true but they are cheap china goods and you have to keep that in mind when looking to buy this. The company is great I ordered 2 pillows for my 2 nieces and one of the pillows had a faulty battery pack like others have said they had happen but I emailed the company and they sent me a new one free of charge and that one was fine when it got here. Overall I am very satisfied with their customer service!

2 of 5 broken / large company logo stitched on face of star
I purchased 5 of these. Because of the inexpensive price, I didn't expect much... but they are very poorly made. 2 of the 5 came did not work (as in did not light up). And most annoying of all, is that all of them have a large red company logo stitched on the "face" of the star. The logo is about as big as it's eye and is located on the "cheek" of the star. I feel like I just purchased a companies left over marketing material.

Cheap product!
The battery cover cracked when tried to open, it feels like a cheap thin plastic. The fur just not made well, some just fell off when I grabbed it a bit hard. So If you have allergies, I would not recommend this product.
